I’d be dropping DWZ but Webby won’t be making that change. He’s always stuck by his players and he ain’t changing his style now.
CNK due back and I can see TT missing out on 17.
Capewell ain’t no centre. After his SOO exploits he def stays in the team and starts on the right edge. Nuikore to the bench. He’s not offering us much on attack except running hard straight lines. He needs to make the permanent move to prop.
If we’re gonna go deep in the play-offs then we need to develop that X-factor. Demi and Leka need to get their hands on the ball more often and be given a bit of licence to play.
CNZ
DWZ
Ali
Pomps
RTS
CHT
Tannah
Fish
Egan
Ford
Leka
Capewell
Clarke
TMM
Nuikore
Demi
Laban

I know Ford has a big motor and tackles his heart out but he’s pretty vanilla. Doesn’t damage on attack and doesn’t dominate on D. He also has zero X-factor and has locked his offload away. Only makes the team cos Barney’s out.

This will be an interesting team naming - we will probably see Ali back... though he played 6 on the weekend... so who knows? Also I reckon there's a unified theory starting to happen with our team... we've got the pressure game and the defence pretty well done except when DWZ doesn't commit .... this is our platform, then we attack through the near edges, Laban, Halasima, and Fatialofa when he gets into grade. Obvious really - so even if we don't last long in finals this year I'm high on us in '26
