Team List Warriors v Tigers - [Round 19, 2025]

Big performances due from Niukore and Jackson Ford who were very poor last game with their discipline and output. Think the positional and starting changes will suit them both tho. Rocco Berry another that needs to step up. I know he keeps coming back from injury but he really does need to hit the ground running as all his performances so far this season have been underwhelming.

The Tannah and CHT dynamic will be very interesting, dont think either of them really threaten the line but im hoping for Tannahs sake he can impact with his game play.

Good to have Dallin back and (altho i wouldve gone Roger at fullback to replace like for like with CNK) here's hoping Tane gets some room to show his fast feet

Home crowd to get us home in this one. With the whole Galvin debacle im actually sort of rooting for the Tigers this year but sorry not this week.....more pain on the way for Benji's boys!

A criticism of Metcalf is he can play a bit sideways sometimes but I think if Boyd can play direct and go deep into the line, the team could benefit. I liked his honesty on SJ’s league lounge when SJ asked him how to stop a full speed Latrell Mitchell, he said try your best or words to that effect and finally said be a speed bump. Think he’s going to get a lot of traffic his way
Titans forum when I scoped it last year after we first acquired him said he is a capable defender. Most years his tackle efficiency is around 85%.

So I hope for our sake he proves his worth. I have a suspicion Webster would not have picked him if his defence was a question mark as Webby has always been high on defence.

Yes 100% to this point "A criticism of Metcalf is he can play a bit sideways sometimes but I think if Boyd can play direct and go deep into the line," Boyd has the ability to create elite level shapes. He is a genuine organising half. Which is something we haven't had since Blake Green. If Boyd really comes off I can see some of our old school fans - who grew up with old school rugby league wiping tears away from their eyes with the memories that come back of what rugby league is really supposed to look like.
This could be a real treat, or a real let down and probably somewhere in between. But let's hope Boyd for everyone's sake can be the man he was born to be. Let's back him 100%. He is now our dog in the fight.

Without Metcalf who’s been scoring tries and been great with his support play, I’d like to see Tuaupiki always in support of the ball carrier. He’d be quickest in the team without Metcalf, don’t think Boyd is slow either though

Ford was a placeholder last time so we might end up with a huge reshuffle back to the usual pack, maybe Leka to start for Laban the exception, got a bit excited when seeing Marata getting shifted before realizing he’s the other placeholder for Cape

Good to see Dallin straight back not even in the extended squad first, finishing off tries literally is the difference between a massive morale boosting win and a forgettable loss, that’s the minimum expectation for our wingers

Yeah he has got that experience and as much as Dallins in no mans land in D.
The difference between him and kosi is daylight after that Broncos outing.
