You do realize the coaches do a lot more than just pick the team, the problem with a lot of you on here is you have very limited knowledge and have never played the game so you have such simplistic and uneducated opinions.

It doesn't show that the injured players are the problem at all but someone with your limited abilities would probably think that. What is your history in the game.
So what is your history in the game.
Tell us your story Mr or Mrs Commonsense.

I suspect one or a combo of the following
1- You are currently an under 13s player.
2- You are a former player who suffered a head injury which has made you angry and short tempered.
3- You are a meth addict.
4- You are a bullying victim and this is an outlet for you.
5- Or you are an ignorant bully.

TBF I am interested in the RL background of many of the most vocal posters.
Not that they aren't entitled to their opinions but to know what they have done in the game

Lots of other options bro...

The history here for Egan is scary.

The sample size is enough to say that it will just continue to happen.

At what point is a decision made on his playing future? Look at Finucane, they took it out of his hands.

Was actually a bit surprised at Webster’s explanation in the press conference after the game around Egan’s head knocks. Played it down a wee bit I thought saying he’s having them every 7 or so games and he’s willing to play pretty much is what I got from what he was saying. Probably all the truth but this must be becoming a concern. Is he continually putting his head in the wrong place?

This win was great. Need to repeat it next week now.

This win would give the boys confidence. Often when you are on a losing streak the last few minutes look really dicey with the team finding a way to lose as it has become a habit. On the weekend the guys continued to compete. Instead it looked like they were going to find a way to win. When they got down field late to get that last try it felt like they would score. I haven't had that in a Warriors side looking for a late win for a while.

Webster said leading into the game it likely wouldn't be pretty. As cool as it was last year and this year with people around the game analysing/praising our set plays. I can live with basic plays and looking unorganised and playing with guts if they win.

Unfortunately let in two tries through lack of speed. Chanze needs to take his place.
Pompey on the first minute try.... He was marking two players. One was his and the other was Raine's.
He stayed on his man as long as he could and then had to cover Dylan Edwards who created the extra man and Taine only got there when Edwards was over the line. Therefore even though Im not Pompey's biggest fan but on that one the onus is on Taine. Watch it in slow Mo if you disagree and let me know what you see.

Lucky we have a bye coming up, so Evan’s 11 days is just one game.

A good opportunity to blood a few youngsters without overwhelming them
I'm a great fan of chucking the youngsters in against the best and biggest and grownest of men. It's character building and shows the kids what the intensity is like and that they are youthfully able to skip around a whole bunch of first graders

I've said it a few times, His head placement is terrible. He needs some extra one on one tackling/technique training to address this.
This.
Fixable if he gets some advice. Everybody hates the storm but I would be calling cameron smith to mentor egan on how to protect himself. Love him or hate him, he's the goat. He's already commented on how good egan is, pay the man to teach him the finer points aound the position and longevity. Just bring him in already!!!

Because they have no interest in adding to the forum, only in tearing others down.
He's not the only one I have seen on here either.

There are some really good posters on here that you can have a great discussion with regardless of whether you have a different opinion or not.

Regardless of your previous or current involvement in the game or even lack of it, why does that make an opinion or view or thought any more or less valid? And if it is something you don't agree with or think isn't right, surely discussing it and providing a worthwhile counter point or ignoring it is far better than name calling or posting shit that neither adds to the topic or adds to the forum.

'You haven't got a clue' or 'I bet you've never played the game' or 'insert non clever name calling here' is really a pathetic response to posters who are on a public forum sharing their views, thoughts and opinions. Let alone assuming those posters aren't involved in some way. Add to that, there are plenty involved in the game who have no clue also.

Wrighty Wrighty who is new to league, no flames, has some very astute observations. Some quite weird ones too though!

MrFrankWhite MrFrankWhite I find fairly logical and I can 99% of the time follow his thinking of why he has a certain opinion on a player or issue.

Neither of these posters I agree with on everything but I certainly appreciate their posts and contributions. They also have life experiences that they can translate across to this great game and club we follow.

Sorry for the rant, but I think some posters need to pull their heads in and either contribute better, ignore posters that don't add anything or aren't worth responding to and/or accept that other people are doing the same.

Tackle higher or just chuck a lazy arm out as they roll past. It will add years to his career and cognitive function

It was interesting when they asked Webster in the press conference about Egan and his history of head knocks. He is either a good actor or was genuinely bemused that the reporter thought there was a significant history. I think every fan on here would say there is a very real worry about Egan and head knocks over the last couple of seasons
