I will back Berry who has incumbent rights from a while back. And if we can back a short winger who's actually a fullback that gets mentioned as a potential half, a prop who has been error prone, a halves pairing who are mid range-ish.....then I'll back Berry even though he's a lot injury prone. Let's see if he too fills out in the next few years.

Anyway, arguments aside. He's in...... pending injury clearance.

People acting like Marzhew is some sort of prime Jonah or something.

There will be plans for him I'm sure.

I'm hoping Lucas is not quite ready (but doubt he would have travelled if he wasn't) - He really helped Ponga early in the season.

Marzhew is a massive liability under the high ball for them. Pretty sure he leads their error count. A poor man's Manu Vatuvei with all of his worst traits and only half of his attacking prowess. Was surprised that the Sharks didn't target him like the Tigers and the Dogs did in the preceding weeks. I'm sure Webby has a plan to bomb to his corners to take him out of the 2nd/3rd tackles of each set.

I'm worried about Bradman Best tbh. Everything good that comes out of the Knights attack goes through him, so Rocco has a big job shutting him down.

I like this team- especially the bench. It looks like it's gonna be another wet night, so middle dominance is again crucial. Best way to shut down KP is to make sure that the Knights never see our red zone, just like the broncos hardly saw it last week. So a four forward bench is the way to go. Unlike others on here, I'm ok with not carrying a Healey or another dummy half option on the bench. Wade plays an instrumental role in organizing attack which relieves the pressure on our young halves. So I feel he needs to be out there as long as possible.

If boysenberry can stop Best
This will b the test
Pongia is the guy they gotta stop

I know the time for the Dragons vs Roosters is locked in along with the Melbourne hosted game. Our game slots in between the two games so there isn't the two hour gap between the two games like when we'd play in Melbourne.

The Warriors may have wanted the 8pm kick off. It is more likely just for TV.

But it would have been cool for us to have a rare day time game. Due to time zones even our 4pm games end up like a cricket day nighter with the light changing as the game goes on.

Obviously they need to fit in with TV and if I recall correctly they have tried four games on ANZAC Day and that might be too much along with taking a game away later in the weekend. But it would have been nice on a special day to do something different.

SJ was good in 2023 too. Get him out of retirement
Theres a point to be made that during that year there were performances from Berry that were good. Rather than saying Berry's been shit for five years.
I hear this every year with him “we haven’t see.ln the best of Berry yet…..” OK… this year also aye 🤷🏻‍♂️
His 2023 form was quite good. So if we analyse his upside there are signs that investing in him is still viable.
