This season we got a favorable draw plus got to go to Vegas in just its second year so that's good evidence there's not a collective bias against the club. I still take notice when the likes of Kevin Campion and Brian Smith have something to say though. It's unfair to paint a brush over all referees who I think generally do a great job under considerable pressure, but that capture of the audio exchange between match officials in the early 2000s was next level as well.Yeah I’m sure all fans feel like their team get a tough go of it from time to time - took my daughter to the game last Friday & she was adamant walking out of the ground that the ref was biased against us, but then no one at the game could tell from the big screen what had played out.
However there’s a next level to that which is the genuine conspiracist fan who believe the NRL want the Warriors to fail. This is addressed in the Bloke in a Bar podcast from Monday. From Kemp & Guru’s comments on that podcast it sounds like there’s a bunch of warriors fans (referred to as the loud minority) that blow things up way beyond objective reasoning. I’d suggest that type of Warriors fan is over-represented on this forum. As a collective, I doubt very much that we represent the typical Warriors fan & therefore from reading posts here it could feel like it’s a majority view that the NRL is biased against us - which any sane person understands is fucking stupid.
