Really interesting here from Webster. I’ve often wondered why we’ve brought in such a highly rated dummy half in Healey, interesting where Webster says Egan isn’t injured but at half time says to him to just give him 10 more minutes. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Egan step away at the end of the season

I think it's as simple as mismanaging his time this season even though AW said he would. This is where the difference between Ivan and him are I think. When they asked Ivan if he had consulted with the players about resting them he said 'No, I just told them they aren't playing this week' AW seems like he asks the players what they want to do.

Rough on Egan, he's been good all season for the most part. Definitely his poorest game yesterday with some basic mistakes.

Healey is a great runner but his passing game is lacking. I don't understand how though its a teachable skill.

I really just think Egan’s broken and I actually think it’s best for his head if he does step away. Healey seems very comfortable just biding his time like he knows something? I think Webster has tried to give him a break when needed, I don’t think he was injured when Healey played the sharks and some more recent games?

His fingers moved in a way entirely consistent with the ball hitting them & there was no evidence of the ball shifting direction. It’s a knock on. Brilliant probably not the right word to use, but it was 100% the right call & a difficult one to make.

Yea it's extremely unfortunate. But it's as simple as the ball being kicked towards the Eels line, the slightest of fingers grazes isn't going to change it's trajectory to backwards even if he is facing his own goal line.

Would have been a great comeback, but yea it is what it is. They certainly gave it the Warriors fine tooth comb of death, but it was the right call.

I agree it was the right call albeit marginal.

The test I use is if it was the opposing team, do I think it should be reversed, and in this case the answer is yes.

It wasn't the losing of the game. It was the soft defense, bad mistakes at the wrong times and a lack of quality when needing to score.

Yes that was my experience as well, nothing better than one of those classic Warrior finishes that you are at the ground to witness - Micheal Witt & Lewis Brown tries being my all time favourite live sporting moments… but alas it was not to be this time.

I get the doom and gloom analysis of our chances in the playoffs based on some of our performances of late, but I don't buy into it. Many folks are cherry-picking results of other teams and apart from Canberra and the Storm (not counting last night) every team has been inconsistent from one week to the next. I just think the difference between our best and worst game has been smaller than others. Discounting the Storm early season game, our results reflect this.

Come finals time, it's a 'new competition' and the spoils are up for grabs. Top four carry a significant advantage, but given a fair wind, share of 50/50 bounce and level pegging refereeing, we stand a decent chance against any team, and certainly when the opposition are not playing at their best.

6th place at home in round one it may have to be, but let's go into this with fight and confidence. Who'd have thought after losing Tohu, SJ, AFB, Montoya, Walker, Metcalf, Barney and so many other unfortunate bunches of injury, we'd even be featuring.

Proud of what the entire squad have achieved so far. Ignore the bandwagon media commentators, or just use it as additional motivation and set out to make a statement with all guns blazing.

I haven't been worked up about a decision all season and was fuming after the game, but have had more time to look and can see it constituted a knock on as the ball was going straight down when it hit Iongi. Can't argue with the call being correct, but still a little bit iffy about the ability to categorically say the slightest of finger movements after the ball passed could be attributed to a touch without having the hindsight of Demetrics comment.

We do look better when we’re up tempo but maybe it’s because I’m used to us being slow

Maybe that's what's going wrong CNK. He's trying very hard, maybe taking on too much and then getting caught out later one?

CHT maybe it's a pressure thing for him. He's got the talent there.

CNK I think has “Steve Price meter padding syndrome” a bit, sure it’s valuable but the ball hogging of late negates it a bit. CHT whilst he’s had a good season I still don’t trust him in clutch moments, he tends to get a good trick play away every so often but the undoes it by trying to do it every time after that.

I think you're on the money. That's probably why I think he is lacking despite good number being thrown back as a retort.

Kind of like how some batsmen will bat for their averages when the game is gone.

For the record I'm not saying he is a bad player or playing badly, it's probably the role he's been given and where his focus is

He will be our first choice fullback next year, but those are pretty dreadful stats for the season. What needs to change to get him humming on the attacking end.

Yeah absolutely! And hes made heaps of strides from last season to this one. This is definitely not knocking him as a coach, I just hope he realizes it starts and ends with him.

Everyone would be thinking about the match winning Iongi try where he got burnt. However it was also Charnze who absolutely played himself to a standstill getting us the field position to nearly snatch a win.

Yes,its strange how Iongi is being used to expose CNK because RTS stands opponents up every week!!!

CHT,DWZ and RTS were the reason we were there in the first half with there ball returns.
Moses kicking game was pinning us back in the 20 nearly every set.

Just can't believe the things our forum comes up with when a couple mistakes happen.
