Team List Warriors v Dolphins - [Round 22, 2025]

NZWarriors.com

Just a couple of fun little stats to ruin your morning.

In Dallin's nine games this year:

• The opposing left winger has scored 10 times. The highest scoring position against us in that span.

• He leads the teams in errors with 20, 11 more than second place, and accounting for 24.1% of all errors made by the team in that span.

Can't wait.

Must be a lot of doubters (including myself).
When the team list was announced Phins were paying $2-05 on the Giddy Goat.
Straight into $1-65 .Takes a fair whack of money to have that effect.
Only time for me betting against the Wahs & would be happy to lose..

I feel like ever since that Stuff article about us having a fully healthy team it all went to shit

Yeah, that was the Rabbitohs game right? And that lasted for what 20 minutes before Barnett went down?

Still crazy to see us on lists of least games missed due to injury this year, considering how injury affected we seem to be all year (including 1 or 2 players part way through a significant number of our games).

As to this current game, I'm just gonna have to go in expecting a 50 point loss, but hope for the best, for the good of my health 😅

I hope the boys getting a rare start go hard and go well, and the Dolphins lose their attacking mojo for whatever reason!

I know the CHT and JFH injuries on top of the Egan concussion stand down severely change the look of our side for this week. I still think we can perform and push for a win. Next week is going to be worry without JFH.

Egan's omission is covered by Healey coming in. Healey will provide a different threat from dummy half than Egan. I hope we can get some decent hitups and quick play the balls for him to run as much as possible.

Some of the changes I would have liked look like they may not have been possible due to the injuries. I would have liked Ford to go back to the bench to play a long stint in the middle of the game, similar to the start of the year.

The other one was Capewell back to the second row, and we get a centre playing centre. He has filled in there well but if he is still carrying a knee injury, which it sounded like leading into last week's game it isn't ideal. I assume the Levels Network got it from the post-match presser. They said Webster is keen for this move to happen, but due to injuries to Berry and Leiataua.

Vaimauga will be an interesting watch. Will he still offload as often, starting? That has helped give us something to play off when he's come off the bench.

Some interesting facts for those who like some stats:

- warriors have won 4 out of 5 games without Fish this season
- undefeated this season playing on friday nigbt
- and have beaten Phins in all games at Go Media
- as underdogs we have won 5 of our last 7

i still think he can beat the Phins as I believe there will be some changes come tomorrow night/before kick
