I'm not seeing TMM at hooker. Why do you think he would go well there?
Go back and watch the rounds he played 6; he spent ALOT of time at DH avoiding his playmaking job. And as I posted above the math is simple; SJ is a better 7 and CHT is a better 6. Then we are just about down to scraps at hooker with everyone injured.

So to recap, we field our best 6&7 combo, we add experience, ability, and another kicking option to DH and another attacking threat.

You could be right and there could be something going on there but I don’t believe he’s at dummy half if he is to avoid his playmaking job. With Egan starting his career at five eighth, perhaps they’re switching up on certain plays? Doesn’t make any sense that he would overrule Egan to get into dummy half? Just on SJ being a better 7. For me personally, I can’t see how SJ walks straight back into 7 when with TMM at 7 we’ve beaten 2 top 4 teams. One being the benchmark team. They may have taken us lightly but they’re a ruthless team who can score at will and we held them out

Around the talk about TMM did you guys notice how Walker and TMM got together on every pause?
They ran that game together.
Wondering what Walkers relationship is like with SJ in that regard, don't seem to remember those two holding briefings throughout the game on every break down or in every huddle (not meaning to paint SJ in a negative light Per Se, I will be watching for that connection when SJ gets back mind....it may be there and I have just overlooked it).

I thought it was very interesting to see the body language and just non stop chatter between the two of them.
Also interesting to see Laban speak in a huddle and get the what you talking about look from Marata, but that is Marata's resting face....there is a reason everyone is afraid of him, he has a persistent intensity).

With SJ and Egan Rarely passing TMM the ball it makes sense he would go take it from DH himself.

How else is he supposed to get the ball to go left?

It does seem to be a bit of a curse lately being the starting 9 for us. Either get knocked out or injured
Agree. You never know though how far our injuries could go? Roache out with surgery, so in order would be Egan, Lussick, CHT, next would potentially be TMM depending on what shape the injuries were inflicted on us if it came to that? 🤞it doesn’t come to that

Walker then Jazz then whoever is the Cup hooker in the weekend before TMM lol

Saw Dallin made 1 tackle at 33% efficiency on the NRL official site, who cares I had warm fuzzies watching Straight Up for the magic round episode and his 200th

Bro you are essentially saying we only won because he was at 7. It's just so stupid I actually struggle to comprehend that you actually believe that.

Even Cooper Cronk has highlighted his impact in the last fortnight. I’m not the only silly prick. I’m more saying he deserves to hold his spot rather than saying we only won because he played 7

He’s getting praised by Cronk, Brandy, Matt Jones etc during this insane fortnight while the Warriors forum is telling him to play Cup or bench hooker, and you are the one being called stupid 😂

The last time they hyped up someone this much from the Warriors was SJ, and the guy before him was called Reece Walsh

CHT is our best 14.

But, he's quickly looking like our best 6 too...

Taine at 14 provides great utility. He can play every position in the backline.

if you lose the hooker, CHT can move to 9 mid-game.
I think CHT has been playing great. Not sure he is our best 6. He may have the best kicking games of our 6s and he was awesome on defence next to Pompey. I think that went unnoticed. Was a real standout their connectedness which gave Montoya more time to cover Isaako. CHT is also everywhere and has found his love for the game. Very infectious.

I just feel in the past he hasn’t been a great threat with his ball playing at the line. He lacks a little xfactor for mine when going to the line and probably not quite as fast as TMM & definitely not as fast as LM. That would be his only shortcoming at the moment. I have been a critic but he has stepped up and is playing very well.

Yep, I said that in the game thread. Walker was controlling the whole thing and kept everyone motivated. But to me Mitch, Marata and Bunty laid such a great platform the guys suddenly had room. Most teams that beat us used a rush defence on our left side to make sure that the play always went to SJ who has been playing injured since the finals last year. I admire SJ's courage but he has handicapped the team.
