Problem was it was the right side where they were targeting and having success and you’d need to be blind not to see Tuaupiki in no man’s land on multiple occasions. Not entirely his fault and had some adversity losing Berry during the game. He saved the opening try by getting a read right and nearly came up with the intercept, easy to criticise sitting on the couch but these guys are out there making split second decisions

Ya dammed it ya do
And you dammed it ya don’t!
If u don’t rush them pressure them
They’ll do you for pace any day of the week
TT unfortunately too small
Not lightning off the mark
Not like RTS game breaker
Good fillin like Kosi
That’s it
With Boysenberry constantly injured
Fully understand why we need to recruit winger/centre game breaker
Any ideas folks
Tommy Talau (Manly) is off-contract at the end of the season - he has family connections (his father is Willie Talau - kiwi centre back in the 80's)

Dropping the ball is irrelevant. If that was a bomb and he jumped for it and got tackled in the air, with or without the ball, it's an act of foul play.

This is, technically, the interpretation

Mid-Air Tackle
It is illegal to tackle an opposing player attempting to field a kick on the full whilst the player is in mid-air.
The catcher must have returned to the ground before being tackled (See Section 15).

Annesley also confirmed this last year

Edit: I reread your post. Nothing wrong with it.

Exactly. 3 man (Luke) had to sit on the lead runner all the time because 4 man (Marata) wasn't fast enough to release him so Cows got the 3 on 2 on that edge all the time. And with a slow centre it compounded the issue and he Taine to jam like every other NRL winger is coached to do in that situation.
Insightful

Maybe why Healey was also brought on to shore up the D line so the edges could spread more. He came on in the last 15 - don’t know who he subbed but I was surprised we managed to hold the line so long

Reality check.

Our FA is Zero

Attack we’re about 8th
Defence we’re about 8th

We haven’t had a blow out win yet while getting arsenal whipped by the Green machine and Storm

We’ve been real lucky for once being on the right side of the scoreboard.

I remember those lean years not long ago when we were constantly on the wrong side of the scorecard and missed the 8 when we could have been in the 4.

I think we are far from a finished product. One or two quick losses and we’re back fighting for a top 8 spot.

We’re good.
But we’re really not THAT good.
Not yet anyway
While that's true we are already putting 4 wins distance on some teams and we have done a harder part of our draw. I don't think to many are getting carried away just yet we really should be celebrating this considering how the year started in Vegas and having tohu leave pre season fish injury and a halves pairing of metcalf and cht. Also metcalf is getting his lessons in while getting the results is crazy and the juniors overflowing with confidence.

We're in the top 4 atm, beating teams and we haven't even clicked into 3rd gear? No we're not very good at all but we are that good.
