Someone posted earlier that with the attempted challenge of the 7 tackle set that Gee said time had expired.

I rewatched and according to the time clock there was 6 seconds between catching the ball and 20m tap!

I thought there was 10secs to make a challenge.

It would have been interesting if there was a successful challenge how the game would have restarted.

I assume it would have reverted to a replay of our last ptb

Yes I think KOSI could really grow from he performances this year ..what I don't get is his size and speed he doesn't seem to want to hit the line ...imgine if he was like DWZ or Monty 24 who would run kamikaze hard runs into the line ...(clark does amazing hard) or really any of the warrior wings of old Manu .KEN ..Fish etc

I'm like waiting with baited breath come on BIG BOY hit the line hit the line >>>>

TT well his size doesn't help ..every run into heavy D he got into RAGDOLL backwards he would be better most of the time just dropping on the ground

my only real concern from the game
I have noticed that Ed has a fairly good off load which is useful if he drags in 2 or 3 opponents leaving a gap or over-lap

Taine Tuapiki was a victim of having a slow 2nd rower in Niukore and slow centre in Capewell inside him being targeted by the Cowboys.

Exactly. 3 man (Luke) had to sit on the lead runner all the time because 4 man (Marata) wasn't fast enough to release him so Cows got the 3 on 2 on that edge all the time. And with a slow centre it compounded the issue and he Taine to jam like every other NRL winger is coached to do in that situation.

IIRC it was Pompey who was rushing out of the line in the second half to try to put on a shot or an intercept. Did it a couple of times. His first-half try went to his head I reckon.
Problem was it was the right side where they were targeting and having success and you’d need to be blind not to see Tuaupiki in no man’s land on multiple occasions. Not entirely his fault and had some adversity losing Berry during the game. He saved the opening try by getting a read right and nearly came up with the intercept, easy for me to criticise sitting on the couch but these guys are out there making split second decisions

He was trying to intercept all game rather than focusing on his man

I’m sure it’s a set strategy

First half he almost got an intercept but knocked it on otherwise it was try time with 2 cows outside

Pompey did exactly the same thing right before half time with his intercept try standing I between two attacking players… they are literally trying to get between the attacking teams line to intercept… Taine showed what happens if you don’t get there in time and they get the pass away…. It’s high risk high reward

Interesting to see Kosi made an astounding ZERO missed tackles yesterday …. to go with his ZERO made tackles… 😂

I think we've blown our cover, this week.

If it were a low scoring affair, we may have been able to continue the illusion.

But alas, our halves pairing gave it all away in the first half.

They'll be coming at us every week now. The media, the opposition. Everyone.

Bring it on.
Just keep injecting more depth and continue to evolve our style of footy.
Along with our defense and kick chase we'll be sweet.

Where are all those who criticise the Wahs "for taking the 2"

It was that penalty that put the pressure on every conversion that the Cows took when they went on their scoring blitz
Only thing apart from growth for Metcalf is his goal kicking out there.
Sure that'll come in time too because he has confidence in his game.

Ya dammed it ya do
And you dammed it ya don’t!
If u don’t rush them pressure them
They’ll do you for pace any day of the week
TT unfortunately too small
Not lightning off the mark
Not like RTS game breaker
Good fillin like Kosi
That’s it
With Boysenberry constantly injured
Fully understand why we need to recruit winger/centre game breaker
Any ideas folks

Recruit a gun fullback and CNK is mr fixit as backup centre/wing/fullback

Mentally and physically, we're the toughest team in the NRL this season. From the coaches to the players to the fans, this is my favourite version of the Warriors. Ever. Big props to Cam and Mohawk for what they've built with this club.
Still gotta surpass 2002 for me, my favourite version, with Lauititi, Jones, faafili, toopi campion. Fans packed an Ericson stadium back then.
With this team though it doesn't at all feel like just a flash in the pan, it's in it for the long haul with our juniors prepped from top to bottom it seems like we're pretty stable.

Reality check.

Our FA is Zero

Attack we’re about 8th
Defence we’re about 8th

We haven’t had a blow out win yet while getting arsenal whipped by the Green machine and Storm

We’ve been real lucky for once being on the right side of the scoreboard.

I remember those lean years not long ago when we were constantly on the wrong side of the scorecard and missed the 8 when we could have been in the 4.

I think we are far from a finished product. One or two quick losses and we’re back fighting for a top 8 spot.

We’re good.
But we’re really not THAT good.
Not yet anyway
