A tough debut for Healey. One he will remember though.
Coming on 18 points up would have been a lot easier. Instead he came on as the Cowboys had a lot of momentum and we were scrambling to turn things around.
A few nice touches.
It will be good to see him on the field when we are dominating through the middle.
Hopefully a few more games to build up his experience like they have with the young forwards.

I know i said i didnt care how we get the points but FMD the blood pressure would appreciate a comfortable win next week.
Character building for our young uns to go through a game like that.
Shout out to Healy (and to Webby to put him on with the game on the line) who didnt look overawed one little bit.....also to Leka who after turning over that ball and the following set us not being able to ruck out of our 20, then put in 3 consecutive must make tackles......so good to see the off the ball effort after an error.
Also hats off to the Cowboys.....they were hearty.

I was a bit mystified with the bench use in the last 15
Healy came on - Egan stayed
Some of the forwards were gassed
And Afoa fresh as a daisy only used for 11 minutes not brought on in the last 15
A great win credit to the cows for making it vompetitive

Ye Roger to Fullback is a good shout. Every time he’s played there he’s been best on field for us, since his return to the club.
Charnze or Taine wouldn’t be a starting fullback at any other club.
In seeing this we are winning tho.
I just think our back line has much more to offer, and seeing the way we’re playing, why can’t we win this year? To answer my own question I think we could if we tweaked our backline a little, to challenge the top teams outside backs.

I'm sure most in this forum thought Kosi would have been the issue on edge defense. Turns out the issue was TT (admittedly he was injured and was admirable out there).IMO, we would have gone on to win 13+ if it hadn't been for the Berry injury screwing up our edge. We just didn't do well enough in adjusting there but we'll learn from that.
If TT and Berry are both out, I'm hoping DWZ and RTS are ready for next week. Fish back would also be mad.

I had to take my pants off at half time. Might have to get a new couch after that.

Nearly had a breakdown in that 2nd ..COWS lifted another gear must have been one hell of a rev up from the coach..
I was having flashbacks to all those years of Warriors losses after great starts in games ...PLEASE not again
the whole game the COWs hammered are weak edges ..first half we seemed to handle it.. zero mistakes really but that 2nd it was like the boys were playing into Sunstrike ..
I can't wait for DWZ to come back and take a WING spot had he been in TT position I think we would have least save a try and got a try ... was TT boots filled of mud ...LEKA runs faster ??
TT IMHO is just not FG material and teams like the COWs knew it and hammered his edge for many tries
