I'm sure most in this forum thought Kosi would have been the issue on edge defense. Turns out the issue was TT (admittedly he was injured and was admirable out there).IMO, we would have gone on to win 13+ if it hadn't been for the Berry injury screwing up our edge. We just didn't do well enough in adjusting there but we'll learn from that.

If TT and Berry are both out, I'm hoping DWZ and RTS are ready for next week. Fish back would also be mad.

Kosi’s criticism isn’t warranted with his performances this year. That was great awareness to hold onto the ball with a steamrolling Hess wanting to take the middle out after a kickoff

In defence of TT (and Capewell) they had 2 or 3 man overlaps every time that swung back to the wing, causing some decision making that made the players look worse.

TT looked stunned and mentally shattered during that period.

100%. You’ve got it correct.

Sure it was CNK that smashed Garrick in the air after it bounced last year to help us win over the Sea Eagles in the same circumstances

Thats true, that being said we did it to Garrick in 2023 and won of that. They did change the rule after that the ref can call them dangerous tackles at their discretion.

Pretty sure that is correct. The ball bounces and you are allowed to tackle them in the air. A bit odd and you don't see often.

There is another weird one with tackling in the air. Something like the defending side can tackle the attacking side. Or something on the part of the field. That doesn't get brought up often but when the commentators mention it. It does sound daft.

In hindsight, that cock up by the ref giving the cows a 7 tackle set when we were 30-12 up was consequential. Berry got stuffed in that set and our edge defense got a bit stuffed. NRL has some explaining to do.
