🤖 Thread Summary

The Warriors team list against the Broncos is generating significant discussion, particularly the selections of Capewell at centre and TMM's inclusion, Inruin #3 anticipating a reshuffle closer to game time. CWC #4 joked about Capewell starting at center while Lance155 #5 suggested moving Taine to the wing and Pompey to centre to improve defense. Canonball #6 noted Ford's consistent performance and the potential energy Demetric brings off the bench, while also finding the Capewell and TMM selections "puzzling."

The team's depth and injury concerns were highlighted, Ever Hopeful #7 expressing concerns about squad depth due to injuries and suspensions. Other fans are hopeful about the team, Worried2Death #17 pointing out positives such as Leka's promotion and TMM's return. Defence #18 suggested hiding Capewell at center or that it could be mind games. Some are hoping for a late lineup change, tajhay #9 expressing concern about Capewell at centre against the Broncos, saying it wasn't the play to make if they want to win.

Recent discussions, per roguei #39, indicate that some newer and younger players aren't yet fit enough for the squad. The starting prop role is between Ford and Bunty, with the possibility of changes. TMM is named in the 17, but his position isn't confirmed. MrFrankWhite #37 highlighted the significance of a potential debut for Leka Halasima, particularly the level of local support he might receive. The weather for the game is predicted to be wet, to the advantage of the Wahs as per CWC #29.

A shame we are hit by a few more injuries and suspensions. We seem to have 1 or 2 games every year where we are under strength scrapping to find players for some positions.

A few surprises in this team. I can kind of see what they are doing with Capewell to centre. To be honest I'd have liked to see Pompey moved back there and go back to the centre we had to start the year. Even though that means finding two wingers. That may have been part of the problem.

Kosi played last week. I'm not sure why Harper was out (injury or suspension) but Harper hasn't played for a few weeks if I recall.

Tuaupiki moving to fullback will give our attack a different look. The same with Halasima starting, povided we get some good ball for him to work off.

I'm interested to see who Laban comes on for. If he replaces Halasima's role replacing Niukore or if he replaces Halasima. I hope he takes this opportunity. Give the coaches something to consider. It would be great having another young forward ripping in.

Its definitely going to be interesting as Webby has kept one edge (usually Capewell) on for 80 the whole game.

Yup, I would start with Afoa and just make it his mission to try and tackle Haas as early and as well as he can. Don't take any runs himself, just try and limit Haas as much as possible. Easier said than done though.
I'd normally agree but he was really good on attack to a tried pack vs the tigers. Hopfully he can pull off some of that same magic vs the broncos. But bunty is a defensive rock.

We are 3 wins from 5 actual games plus the bye.
Webby must see the future of Metcalf as a half.
And he knows he can’t waste a season if he fails.
He knows he could have gone the Boyd or TMM option.
I’m expecting Metcalf, TMM and CHT to give us a massive Easter.
Thats all cool & all bro. And I agree somewhat. But I was replying to Naki73's comment about .not wanting CHT in the halves. He has been playing better than Metcalf. Not that I want Metcalf removed. Altho, My personal opinion is Metcalf is a 6 or FB. Not a 7.

Our best attacking option for me is
1-Taine
6- Metcalf
7- TMM
And we have several quality options to fill the centre/wing spots.
No knock on CHT or Boyd at all.
I’d back any combo.
