Pick Your Team Warriors v Broncos - [Round 7, 2025]

Man it's becoming a bit of a cluster fuck with the outside backs.

CNK our for a game - likely that regardless of what happens nek game with his replacement, CNK comes back in. For me, no point in moving Taine, only to go back to wing 1 game later (and then likely replaces by Dallen in Rd 10).

But, if Taine isn't FB then it's bringing in TMM at the back despite not playing there in NRL in 3 years...hardly ideal for a one off replacement.

Kosi - generally not considered gold enough even though he played well last game there.

Pompey - fills in alright at wing but not a top winger by any stretch.

My guess is that they'll go Taine at FB, Kosi at wing.

Not sure what we're going to do with Fish, just praying for it being less than 4 weeks
TMM played fullback in trials and it worked well.

Ali L looked pretty ineffective to me last night. I love him and don't believe he is ineffective, will probably just take time but can't help but wonder what we are sacrificing by moving him over the other side after him looking so dangerous on the right. I wonder if we had kept Pompey and Ali in the centres last night how it would have gone? It's Berry's defensive efforts that make him so loved. I guess I need to be patient but its hard not to wonder.
I think Hughes would of still carved us.
No issue with Berry.
The Center/Wing combo's were good before he returned.
To be honest I think the attacking flair dropped with the shuffle.

I wish him all the best but doubts remain based on previous evidence. The only real way to change that is by providing new evidence to the contra

I thought the same and have been highly critical, but he was probably out best in NSW Cup defeat along with Healey, TSS and EIT.

Again some good runs, unusually safe under the high ball and pretty sure zero errors.

Should have a double but robbed of a fwd pass call that was 3 metres shorter than Mitchell’s pass for Souths previous week.

3 weeks straight, are we heading into uncharted waters? He is rocks and diamonds but the Tigers game has his confidence up.

1. TMM
2. Kosi
3. Ali
4. Pompey
5. TT
6. Metcalf
7. Boyd
8. Niukore
9. Egan
10. Barnett (c)
11. Capewell
12. Halasima
13. Clark

14. CHT
15. Afoa
16. Vaimauga
17. EIT

18. Ford

If it’s a wet track Boyd’s kicking and more importantly, goal kicking could be crucial. LM can be all or nothing with the GK duties.

EIT covers backs and forwards if we suffer a usual HIA or 2.

CHT can cover Egan for a rest and keep him fresh, back end of the game.

Leka starts to set an aggressive tone and replaced after 20. Capewell, 1 bad game away from bench or NSW Cup.

It's that at this point we are short of out and out wingers like that specimen Coates. Particularly specialist wingers who know all the Kpi's of wingers.

Nah,
Haters that think Websters positive nurturing of his players that came up with the name cuddles need one.

Put me down as another that hates that nic.

I would rather see him called c*** if I am honest, the passive agro of cuddles stinks.

Oh to the topic at hand, prolly gonna get a hiding vs Brisdumb.

Might as well go for it boys, throw everything you got at em.

I can’t stand it either….. he is the best coach we can get to coach the warriors that totally buys into the club and country. Games and seasons won’t always be pretty… hey… remember we are the warriors. His biggest fault is that he was so successful in his first season and people jump on his back when we don’t get the win. Things will be ugly time to time and he will make poor decisions and we think he doubles down on them - but remember he has forgotten my RL knowledge that we believe we know… and he sees the players everyday, watches them train, observes the team dynamics, know the direction moving forward - we don’t know any of that. How about supporting him when he is here - he is a warrior, fallible and awesome in the same breath…. As we all are.

He is a great coach. A little conservative but may be playing the long game. We have a good foundation, and lots of cap space. In the next 2-3 years we should see at least one year where we surge deep into the finals.
