Broncos don't enjoy getting into the grind with teams. They lost against Raiders and Roosters who are both grinding teams, and while they beat the Dolphins and Cowboys - there were periods there were they turned to shit and struggled.

Obviously they have great attack, but if we're able to negate some of that, frustrate them and grind them down, I think we're in with a chance here.

After this weekend we would have played the 4 best attacking teams so far this year. Classic Warriors luck

Yeah, unfortunate Fish is out for this one however this is the sort of team that will beat that Broncos side - biggest priority is to hold and dominate in the ruck area, then look for Halasima and Laban to go to work on the edges

I'm more optimistic about this game than against the Storm last week.

A few things to consider - The weather brings us right in to the contest, the Broncos haven't been away from Suncorp for 4 weeks, the Broncos definitely have errors in them but if they click will be very dangerous, we are coming off a hiding and teams tend to respond well the following week with performance, our backline reshuffle looks like shit at the moment and even if TMM goes to fullback and we get TT, Ali, Pompey, Kosi in the outside backs I don't think the conditions will suit having a playmaker at FB, Its almost perfect for CNK's type of game at FB unfortunately.

I don't think the weather is going to be all that bad for Saturday - will rain heavily here today and tomorrow but likely to clear ... the most puzzling selection is TMM - I really hope he gets some game time as I think he deserves it on performance - but where ? And how? The only move can be having TT back to the wing and Capewell back to the interchange or second row... they're not going to fuck with the halves at this point ... unless TMM goes into centre .. but that would be cra... how do you get him into to the game from the bench?

They played TMM at fullback in the trial for a reason

Yeah it's an odd call on TMM to bench.

I guess rewarding him for NSW Cup form (haven't watched any of their games but comments suggest he's been generally killing it), while trying to keep the halves pair consistent, but also being injury cover (or hooking a player have a sh!t game cover!) in case of more reshuffles required in-game.
And with all our outs maybe just preferring more experience on-hand than more newbies that may overplay their hand.

With the lineup changes, both teams hoping to bounce back from last round losses, and a potential error-riddled wet game, who knows how the hell this game is going to pan out! 😅

I'm picking either Morgan or Healy will make their Wahs debut this weekend.

I can't see how we play both Taine and TMM in the wet. We need bigger bodies to help grind Broncs down, we could see a battle of the worst centres in the game out there, in Harper V Shibbiaski lol.

Either Morgan to half and Capewah to the bench, or a straight swap in TMM for Healy.
Yeah bringing Healey in sorta makes sense ... argh Webster is such a tease!
