Well we know Capewell is great at filling holes but he has the most missed tackles in the NRL. You usually don't put a guy wider out if they are missing lots of tackles.

I seem to repeat this a lot, but missed tackles doesn't necessarily mean bad defender.

Does Webby know about the cyclone? Capes at centre could be a masterstroke in the wet. He might have picked a team of specialists for the Storm, should have done that last week.

Sure agree with that but do you think his tackling has been up to standard this year? From watching the games he seems way down on last year and the stats are agreeing with what my eyes are seeing.

He's notoriously missed tackles a lot throughout his whole career. I remember owning him in Fantasy when he was at the Sharks when he missed around 12 in one game

EDIT: He missed 12 tackles twice that season

The avarage tackles per 2nd rower over this season so far is 120ish where as for centers is 60. Honestly it might be for the best to move him into a less defensive position. And he hasn't been that bad when attacking in the opposition 20. Although he managed to pass behind rocco at least 3 times, but i blame rocco 70/30 here as he looked rusty.
Not that he is in any way better than rocco, ali or pompey. Just him at center and pompey at wing is better to me than inviting in harper. But i'd prefer TMM to fullback, and TT to stay at wing and allow pompey to play center.

Was thinking it was an odd choice, but yeah, put an EIT or MGT in that spot and that backline starts to look super green.

I like the team very much considering CNK and Fish are injured. As I have posted before teams that coaches pick are tired and stodgy and conservative and they often punch above all expectations.
Putting TMM at full back is a fan team which will look exciting on paper but flatter to deceive on the day.
At least according to my pet theory that I have seen play out countless times across multiple sports codes.

Rocco Berry one game back then banned. Good grief.
