Fantastic job boys and to the coaching staff, I read that we fly boys up from chch and dunny door to the games brilliant effort.
We just gave to keep these guys now as the rest of the league now know how good they are.

Massive result - it takes a tribe, but lots of kudos has to go to Robbo for his investment in our Pathways and for allowing this group of 15-17yo lads to come together and win a title against all odds!

Huge effort for the whole organisation, but particularly the coaching staff and players to turn around a heavy defeat to the Eels in round 1 (albeit in 38 degrees) into finishing Premiers by beating three previously unbeaten sides in a row! Epic to say the least!!

Real interesting to see you got kids from the rugby stronghold schools like Grammar, St Kent’s, Westlake boys, St Peters and Kelston all represented in that squad…. with a U17 squad and news of winning the GF (in the first year!) that’s gonna spread like wild fire in the school grounds…

So proud of the club, what an achievement! Some of the structures they run look so slick

What an insane achievement for the Harold Matt teams first year in the competition First time in the history of Harold Matts since coming under the NSWRL in 1986 a starter team has not only made but won the GF, and to beat 2 undefeated teams during the regular season to do it - Bulldogs and Magpies is absolutely huge, well done to the boys, hopefully the first grade side take notes haha!

Struggling to grasp the full ramifications of this. Our boys just beat the best of NSW, proving we're still the best junior league nursery. And we now have the pathway grades, coaching and systems to bring them through to nrl. Wonder how much credit Phil Gould gets for his consultant role. Anyway it's huge for the club.

Obviously it's just juniors with 30 minute halves and mistakes here and there but they looked quite slick out there with deadly dummy half runs and some good set pieces.
