Ohh good question.....if Chanel comes out and announces hes signed somewhere else for 2027 and onwards, do you continue with him at 6 for the rest of this year, or move him to the interchange and give the 6 to LM?

If we're fighting for the spoon then ya he can go now if he's signed elsewhere

If we're trying to win it then Mets can keep that No.20 jersey for the rest of the season

Apparently his sister or family liked a post by 1 of the posters here commenting on social media so who knows maybe it's a $$ thing. Would be a shame he's home grown since 2019 and we're finally getting peak CHT at a reasonable price and he could be gone lol

I like his attitude/answers towards Luke's situation, sounds like he's an injury cover until form dip/injuries happen rather than "he's my 1/6/7"

The CHT answers sound like "We want to keep him at a medium/cheap price and his agent has been testing the market and keeping us in the loop of his price range"

Rattled yes.

And that is a good thing for those wanting the Warriors to retain Chanel.


I think Webster's uncertainty reflects the person we are talking about here.

Chanel is a rare one indeed, entirely goes his own way. And for Webster, I guess the smartest play is to remove all pressure from Chanel....otherwise he goes walk about eh....that's just his unique personality.
