That does buy a lot of brownies...

But in all seriousness you are suggesting a situation where we deny a compassionate release then get a guy on compassionate release.

Never ever going to happen

I think JFH is genuine where as AFBs is probably more to do with winning dally M prop, being sick of the travel and wanting more commercial allotment in the big smoke.

Just a vibe that if we said to him here’s $1.3m for the next 4 years he would have said “ok bro”

crazy to think if we didn’t buy RTS and Capewell we could have potentially had both JFH and AFB.

We’ve locked up some mediocre players when we could have waited for the market to open up organically like it always does through the season.
Too right. Oregon Kaufusi & Royce Hunt are available next year. Royce is the type of high impact short minute's bench prop i was talking about last night. May not have Tohu's engine. But if we had the likes of him off the bench last night he might of been able to lift the boys. He can hit and is all power with his hit ups. Do we have cap space for the likes of a Hunt or Kafusi next year?

Comments from Panthers management re: JFH & Jett Cleary

Cleary is just all class! Good on them for not digging in thier heels. So much respect for the Panthers organization, they aren't like all the other australian clubs in these situations.

Seems like Cleary is a very emotionally intelligent coach, some of the other ruthless coaches wouldn't of been so understanding.

Interesting points on it being exhausting for JFH, it was exhausting just being a Warriors fan and digesting the news.

I just saw that all the way doco last week! They guy is just so in touch with his players and club.

Webby is very similar.

Not quite the same, the guy has been living in Penrith the last 13 years and has built a life there and has been very happy in the Penrith system, worked his ass off to become one of the elite front rowers in the game, to make a big decision to move countries and lock into the Warriors for 4 years would take its toll.

Interesting seeing the panthers shopped Luke Garner to the broncos to which the broncos rejected. Would likely have been at the tigers when Webster was there, if not in his last year as assistant at panthers? Tall at 1.90m like Webster seems to be keen on a few recent targets. If height is a requirement on an edge, I hope we keep persevering and giving Laban at least a bench spot to let him build into the edge backrower we’re seeking
