Realistically they probably just gave him too much money at a young age, so isn’t incentivised to try hard.

Bidding wars for teenagers always seem dicey unless they are like a Hass type couldn’t miss.
Watching him for NZA he definitely tries hard, could just be blocked over there by others? Gone from representing Queensland in origin age groups to NZA and Maori team so he seems to have switched allegiance so could be keen on the cultural aspect?

I might be missing something here, but what are we expecting from Howarth that Laban or Sif aren’t likely to provide?

One things for sure watching last night, we’ve got our work cut out trying to replace AFB with however many players it takes? Think we need someone in this young group to stamp their mark this year whether that be Laban, Zyon Maiu’u or Halasima. Was encouraged with TSS yesterday too in nsw cup

He was an absolute beast. That run he did bumping off all comers and pulled down metres short deserved a try.
