I know in the end we trust Webby to pick the team he judges best. I have always been confused with the purpose of this thread. Are we recommending changes or simply predicting the team he will select? (knowing that he rarely changes the makeup of the team except for player availability).

This thread is for wannabe coaches who think they know better than our messiah and really are just so bored shitless with their humdrum life that they need to come on here for their 5 minutes of fame.

Regardless of the lineup I am desperate to see a team that can at least have the chance of doing something in the finals (even if its an outside one). Right now I am actually dreading any finals match up

It was a Half Life 3 thing. I.e. when valve release a new game that's not HL3, the common response is 'but, when half life 3'.

It is confusing. It appears at times people write which players should be picked and why. My view, is we are not qualified as we don't see what happens at training, attitude, 1% thingswhich Webby has insights to. There is reasons why players are selected.

Please just win! Sick of losing to the Titans while just about every other team is beating them. No easy games, Titans have some game breakers. Biggest focus should be controlling the ruck & completing our sets. Can't let them have quick PTB's or they will tear us apart.

Sorry, Im just not seeing this kicking game of Boyds that everyone talks about....for me he has been disappointing since his debut.

I would have had TMM at 7 and Healey at 14. But actually play Healey for middle 3rd and give Wade some bench time in to get fresh for the finals run.....TMM had 23 minutes at 7 before he got knocked out so is a risk but his creativity is so much better than Boyds.

Agreed, haven't really been impressed with it either.

Never seems to be the right height or depth, so makes the game plan of pinning teams rather redundant.

Metcalf was doing a much better job of it before injury(at least that's what my cooked memory remembers).

absolutely agree. Barnett seemed to be the glue in the defence. Will be good to get him back next year. An unfortunate injury. Noticed him in Origin too. Webster seemed to bring out the best in him (as with other players)
