No stats, just an observation.

Maybe watch a full replay and pay full attention to all TT runs.
I believe he is effective enough returning the ball.

CNK pads his stats by doing multiple decent 2nd and 3rd tackle runs.
He could do plenty of those from centre.

The thing for me is, without TT, we have no flair or ball playing out wide.
That is more important IMO than CNKs metres.
I am a fan and he needs more games to show what he can do for this team.

People over state the size issue. Like you I like his reads on defence, especially when it is just him as last line, he is really good at not getting burned.

Can you GIF up the reverse angle for this?

Also have a look which direction Feagai looks to travel in your gif initially, it's infield. This angle doesn't show it but so does Allan. Thats the half a second that makes the try.

Pomps gets the ball 5 metres out with Feagai pinned on the tryline because of the work of Taine. Look where he is in this screenshot of your Gif, flat footed a metre off the line with Pomps charging downhill.
If you have the video it’s easy enough, I just used the highlights from YouTube. It doesn’t appear to have the reverse sorry.
I’m happy to concede TT plays a bigger part than I gave credit for. I’d say Niukores quick play the ball plays a factor in the defence being pinned on the try line too.

It is a good dilemma for Webby to have. My take if Berrry is fit, he will play and CNK will be fullback and Taine misses out.

If TMM is recovered from HIA. He is on the bench as the utility and Healy misses out.

Capewell will hopefully come back in a replace Ford with Leka in the backrow and Niukore to the front row.

With all the injuries, HIA and suspensions Webby will want a settled team.
Dropping Healy would be a shit move

Tmm can cover
1 3 6 7 13 9
Healy can cover
9 13

The thing about this for me is while TMM gets a pass mark in the other positions outside of half, he doesn't excel in any of these positions and doesnt offer anything offensively. If he's at centre, full back, 13 or 9 he can defend there, but doesnt give us any real advantage. So, were
Having someone like Healey means you get genuine impact off the bench and can create for himself and others.
Even if there's an injury, Capewell can push out to centre and DWZ or Roger can cover fb, with Egan able to cover half.

I’ll be really surprised if Boyd plays this week. I reckon TMM plays at 7 and Healey stays on the bench

My reasoning being, I think TMM has a better attacking game than CHT and I think Blyd has a better kicking game than CHT. I think it’s the best balance we can have in the halves right now. No slight to CHT, I think he’s a decent player, just don’t know what his best position is.
No one does.
He plays hard but not really a standard NRL half.
I reckon he would be better playing 9.

Some sense there.
Did you notice on Friday Healy didnt make any dummy half runs?
I hope coach hasnt told him to stop that -thats Healy s ace card.
