I understand the disappointment towards Ed being selected in the team list forum. But not sure what else AW was supposed to do given the 23 he named. Minimizing disruptions by keeping Pompey at centre and bringing Kosi in as a direct replacement seemed to be the obvious thing to do. Kosi is rocks and diamonds on defense but his work through the middle might actually be helpful in this game. Tigers also have some disruptions with Skleton dropping out. We can still win the middle battle with the named pack. I think Bunty will be help us shore up the middle defense, which is more important than ever in a game like today.

Tigers defence is the best in the NRL, only conceded 34 points.
Bombs and grubbers to win this
Yeah, I’d like to see the halves play a bit more heads up footy. The amount of times the short grubber in behind has been on, but they just default to what the system says has been frustrating. I guess that also comes with experience.

Terrell May has been killing it for them, I don't think he'll be able to keep it up for the full season though.
Just think of his opposition though. A NSW cup quality Knights pack. An ageing Dolphins and Eels packs past their prime. We are their biggest test to date. JFH and Barney are the meanest and toughest front row pairing we've had since Price/Wiki. We aren't rolling over as easily as their previous opponents.

Looks impressive on the surface but as you dig into the granular details, their record is not as impressive as it seems. They conceded 18 pts in one half to a Dolphins team that has struggled for pts all year. Dolphins threw away that game in the second half more than the Tigers won it. The week previously against the Eels, the first half was quite possibly the worst half of football played by any 2 sides all year. They aren't going nearly as well as people make it to be.

Could we see a bit more late shuffling of the deck? Will be a wet Night in Sydney.

I can’t help but wonder if TMM might get the nod to start at fullback with Charnze shifting to left wing.

It wouldn’t surprise me for Bunty to start with Mitch coming off the bench for impact from minute 20.

This game is going to be played through the middle and field position will be critical.

I just don’t think Kosi on a wet track in his current form can be trusted. He turns as fast as an oil tanker so I think that’s a massive liability if they run out as selected. Maybe I’m being harsh here but it’s wouldn’t put it past Webby to make a late shuffle?

Mobility will matter in this game - line speed especially when defending deep in their territory when they are working out of their red zone will be big. Metcalf and CHT will need accurate kicking and play the percentages.

Going through them looks like the safe bet.

I reckon Tigers are flat track bullies - it needs to be hard and fast for them to play Benji-ball. I wonder if they can play the grind. I suspect they won’t have the patience.

Bunty will be useful tonight especially defensively. I’m also expecting a big game from Marata. I suspect he is getting nearer to his best form - something about me thinks he is going to break out soon and have a performance where we say ‘THAT is why we pay him 800k’…

If we can start really well and put the blowtorch on the Tigers early by forcing them to play inside their half, we are a good shout here.

Winning this game is crucial in the context of clout season. It’s a 4 pointer with the bye next round. Being 3-1 leading into Storm and Broncos is a great place to be.

More importantly, Leaving Campbelltown with the W, no injuries and no suspensions would be brilliant.

Close game but I reckon we could be good for 1-12 if we turn up with the same passion desire and intent as the last 2 weeks.

I remember when Benji took over and they were still getting hidings, slowly but surely their one on one tackling effort improved until they eventually were achieving respectable losses.

All they have done under Marshall is defend, defend, defend, I am pleased for him to see it working.

Hoping Kosi has a error free game, if it's slippery out, going by reports his yardage could be crucial getting us out of our end, but that all depends on him holding the ball... I'm ok with Bunty, we need just hard running and solid defense in this type of weather, if it was a hard track I would have preferred someone like Healy with speed around the ruck... My prediction is Metcalf to find a gap or two and score a try, let's get it done Wahs
