First time I've commented this season since the season started.

Was a bit worried after our first 2 losses of the season. Was trying to find where we were needing to win 6 out of the 8 games after that.

But since we've won 3 of our last 3 games, we just need to win 3 of our next 5 games and we are semi final bound again.

Where are all the Te Maire Martin doubters now that I have been reading the last few weeks.

'Oh no don't bring TMM back he doesn't play as well as CHT or Metcalf?'

'He doesn't really work well with SJ, he sucks'

Well he played very well today and I'm proud of him.
To be fair, TMM highlight reel is not great but put in a great effort and deserves to Start next week. Don't you love it when players fight to get selected? This is the making of a dynasty.

That has been my thoughts as well.

As long as we pick up the two points at home.

But we do look better in Australia on the dry tracks. Especially for our ball movement.

A few things with that. It is great for a side that has traditionally been poor on the road, we accumulate more points. We are likely going to need to win in Australia to qualify for a Grand Final. Then to also win a Grand Final.
Do you think our 2 1/2 years in Aussie has added some Australian DNA to the club, we handle the conditions like it's our second home these days. Half the team are aussies anyway, it's a good mix of kiwi/oz at the moment, I don't fear any away games this year.

What's up Warriors family. First time poster ;)

But just wanted to say how good it is to see Charnze back.

Amazing to see how passionate about this club he is despite the fact we probably didn't value him like we should have.

Maybe time apart was the best thing for both parties to realise how much they need each other?

In anycase, Charnze has the best smile in rugby league and I am grateful to see it again after a great win.

There are probably a few factors.

That could be part of it. Being stuck over there was a bit of a weird experiment as we have always debated what it would be like being based in Australia. Probem was their family and support network was in NZ so it was a case of getting through it.

At the moment it's probably the style of play.

The coach is also about no excuses. We also have an experienced squad.

Hopefully with age group teams going over there every week as they come through the grades it would be something that is just natural.

I was fearing the club coming back and having to rebuild. Especially getting the young players etc. Amazing the turn around.

Totally agree, and welcome back to the forum Charnze, you had a blinder, expected nothing less.

I get the sense that the lad has some unresolved anger management issues and they're getting worse. He might need to do a CHT and take a break, but I doubt anyone around him will be giving him that message. He just seems in a bit of dark place.
The nrl have created this monster- he’s been given preferential treatment because he’s a big name indigenous player and they’re too scared to come done on him- it’s embarrassing.
