I love watching this team play in Australia. They seem to relish those conditions. Mt Smart has great crowds, but conditions turn the game into more of an arm wrestle.
That has been my thoughts as well.

As long as we pick up the two points at home.

But we do look better in Australia on the dry tracks. Especially for our ball movement.

A few things with that. It is great for a side that has traditionally been poor on the road, we accumulate more points. We are likely going to need to win in Australia to qualify for a Grand Final. Then to also win a Grand Final.

Curious to know the thought process of those who rated the game a B?

Is it because the bunnies scored the first try? Never mind we scored 34 straight after?

Due to the early time for the game we got Domino's delivered.

They still came with Easter packaging. My kids start cutting something out next minute they are running around with Warriors jersey's on and a rabbit face.

If they didn't have their jersey's on I probably would have tackled the little imposters.

Any other week would have been fine.

I believe that we have just given Souths an excuse to sack their useless excuse of a coach. Why he would drop Moale, who made 200+ metres in reserve grade, in favour of a 2nd hooker against our size is beyond me. Dumber than SK in terms of team selections and footy IQ.

In terms of our performance, I err on the side of caution in terms of how much we read into this win. Roosters pumped Souths by more than we did and everyone thought they were premiership contenders only to be fully exposed by Penrith the week after. A lot of this is just how bad Souths are as a team. Their roster is highly overrated: their team may have been a top 4 side in the past but the rest of the comp has caught up with them. The NRL media need to recognise that and readjust their expectations re Souths. They will be lucky to make finals this year. Easily our worst opponents of the year.

We will know more about where we stand next week when we play another top 4 contender in Manly. Pump them and I think the rest of the comp will rightly conclude that we are one of the genuine contenders for this title alongside Penrith and Brisbane.

Because we average 16.4 points conceded per game, 12.4 if you take out the final 3 mins v Storm! I'm quite comfortable saying we are easily top 4.

However, are we Top 2? That really seems to be the big question and I would say 'No' at the moment.

My kids pissed themselves laughing at Reggie the Rabbit staring down SJ as he took that conversion from wide out.
