Watching the replay the dirt Souths gets away with is a joke.

Latrell committed two high tackle shots on scoring players, elbowed SJ in the head, tipped Tohu upside down (lifting between the legs is meant to be an automatic bin if the player lands on his head like Tohu).

I see the Sydney media are sick of it and calling for Latrell to get a ban.

Cody Walker got away with two shoulder charges. It is no wonder their NSW cup thugs tried elbows to the face as well, this is what happens when Refs let one club become protected.

At the end he was choking Egan with his forearm as usual, we were too nice to let it go, it was good to see Ale giving Mitchell a shove after he lifted the captain.

I think we won’t play them again this season, thank goodness

That GI wannabe is a bully and a coward but I honestly don’t think he means to be, he’s impulsive and reckless and needs to get help. And I hope he does, all that work he does for his people and youth etc is fine but they’re still watching him on the field acting a fool. I don’t wish him any harm on him but he’s gotta take responsibility for his actions and his attitude, there’s a scared little boy underneath that exterior and it needs to be addressed. I honestly don’t think he wants to play anymore, he’s just cashing in now. Get some help Latrell….cmon bro, walk away from the game for a bit at least and be the real inspiration you have in you inherently.
He needs to grow up. He has immaturity issues. I'm not a 100% hater but his ability to injure players without sanction is a health and safety issue and I'm not joking.

Until he is sanctioned by the same measure as Niukore Radley and anyone else he'll have no reason to change except getting his teeth knocked out on the field.

He reminds me of kids whose parents give them anything and let them do whatever they want and the kids became bullies some driving Ferrari unaware of why or how they are causing pain to others, and yea the solution is what Sam Burgess the coach wanted - stop preferential treatment and manage them like you would with normal people, professionalism, ethics and support

His hero is Rog, the nicest guy in the world. Charnze is officially 2nd nicest but wouldn't he surprised if he becomes even nicer than Roger before he's finished. How lucky are we to have both of them!
They both have character it seems. Both work hard but Roger has the highlights. I love having them both and seeing them pump in a well balanced team effort with everyone knowing their roles and lines etc

All the talk of Egan for SOO.

Koroisau is just as good. He can do the job. Keep Egan here!

Madge would have been watching the game for a number of reasons:

- His history as their Prem winning coach.
- Wighton saying he might make himself available
- Incumbents in Murray, Latrell, Walker, Cook

You would have to assume Egan has played his way into the squad. Whether he can get into the 17 is another question.

What's more is the amount of press running with the 'Egan for SOO' - it will have been noticed at all levels of NSW administration.

Remember when everyone used to moan about Johnson’s pointless bombs?
Well it was the same farkin kick- he’s just got people chasing it now.
Well remember those days and some of the heated debates lol......think u were one of the few voices of reason pointing out such things.

The concept of a bomb coming down 5 metres out (not too mention how hard that actually is to repeatedly do) forcing a team to work off their own goal line was just lost on most........altho the seasons he left when our kicking was shit mightve started the mindshift.

Robson’s having a blinder as well. You would think Egan would come in for Cookie.

Yeah we really don’t have grubby players in the team which is nice

Tohu is a nice guy also

Marata has enforcer grub about him but even he’s nice for a grub

😂

I think we're even nicer than the Sea Eagles with the whole Turbo clan and DCE, but they have the despicable seven, we're all nice. We must be the nicest warriors in history if Marata is our bad guy.

If Te Maire keeps this play up poor old Luke ain't getting back in when he is fit ahead of TMM.
I am trying to remember when we had multiple spine players pushing up together....don't think I have ever seen all four...the hooker, Halfback, Stand off and Fullback push through the middle third like they are now under Webster (ok so it was just one week, but they will try it again, maybe not this week, but it will start to become a thing).

Closest thing would be under Anderson, when players kept turning up to catch the second phase, but that is not the same as all four spine players getting involved.

I prefer seeing SJ and TMM with CNK at the back finishing off middle third breaks, rather than Websters plan to have Roger come into the middle in a Roving role.

Hopefully we won't need Roger to come in, hopefully he can stay out on the edge holding up the opposition three quarter line, keeping them honest while the little men do a Stacey Jones and cut right through the middle of the park looking for an offload or a pass.

Roger is better utilized in such a way that he spends all his time learning how to set up a Winger on an overlap. Otherwise if he is going to the middle often, you risk duplication with CNK already doing those Dummy half scoots.

Also to be frank, Roger was never the best support player of breaks, nor was CNK, which is why CNK doing it against the Rabbits should see him retain that role now.

It was gorgeous seeing 1 6 7 in a spearhead formation on the back of what 9 did.

It was multiple reply good.

And not having Roger being part of it is good because he is a defender magnet.

I get the sense that the lad has some unresolved anger management issues and they're getting worse. He might need to do a CHT and take a break, but I doubt anyone around him will be giving him that message. He just seems in a bit of dark place.
First instinct is to get angry as the guy does some dumb grubby shit. However I think you are right and the guy has some mental demons and I’d suspect a few in high places know it- hence the seemingly soft treatment. He’s been copping ALOT of heat in the media but there was a random pr fluff piece on him on the news this week as if to try and improve his image.
Either way think the guy needs a break to clear his head, it’s clearly not in the game
