It will be good to see Tuaupiki given time at fullback to push his case. He's a bit of a contrast to CNK being a different body.

RTS to the wing. He hasn't played there consistently for a long time.

Ieremia-Toeava it is a good opportunity for him.

The halves it is another opportunity to build a combination. Implement the style of play we are aiming for.

Ford it is good to see him back from injury. Is he named at 10 as that is where they see him or out of necessity due to injuries?

Demitric Vaimauga on an edge will be interesting.

Good to see Ale and Halasima named. Halasima has been talked about as a middle option so it will be interesting to see where he plays.

The reserves there is some interest there. Healey would be good to see some more minutes. The two young halves it is a good opportunity to get them amongst the first grade squad as we develop them for the future. Hanson has played a bit of NSW Cup so could be an option to be called up with we get hit by injuries.

A few players got a bit excited and made mistakes when they come on late. Hopefully we see some calm nerves this week and overall things improve on last week.

Typical that the one area we were already weak af in is the first area where a long term injury strikes. Surely that's Dallin out until round 6 at the earliest?
that side is cursed ... no news on Berry either (where's the recruit ?) Interesting Roger and Ali swapping over there... Hoping at least one of the younger guys really steps up -

wouldn't mind emergency measure of Halasima at centre at some point - everyone plays lock...

Do we know how long Dallin will be out for?
No prognosis on NRL Physio yet. This from Chat GPT

The recovery time for a broken and dislocated wrist that requires surgery depends on the severity of the injury, the type of surgery performed, and individual healing factors. Generally:

  • Initial Healing (6–8 weeks): The bone usually takes this long to heal, during which the wrist is often immobilized with a cast or splint.
  • Rehabilitation (2–3 months): After the cast is removed, physical therapy helps restore strength, mobility, and flexibility.
  • Full Recovery (3–6 months+): High-impact activities, such as rugby, may take longer to resume, often requiring at least 3–4 months before returning to full contact play, depending on the surgeon’s advice and the player's response to rehab.
For an elite athlete like Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, the timeline may be optimized with advanced rehab, but a return to full competition likely won't be rushed to avoid re-injury.

Could we sign Stonestreet immediately? Give him a starting spot!!! He's ready to play NRL, Sharks would surely have to do the right thing no?

This is the same Sharks that didn’t let Luke Met go because they were worried about their depth but

It would restore my faith in humanity if we could pull the trigger and bring someone in that isn’t just a warm body and little else 🙏

There’s just no fucking way Webby would subject Warriors fans who have paid thousands to watch the team in Vegas to have to watch Ed-fucking-Kosi Round 1, right? Right?!
Right?!?
