from memory the Las Vegas teams named their sides the week leading up to the games and then the following week on Tuesday the remaining teams named theirs. So, lock down only affected the teams playing that weekend. But I'm not 100% on that
In the 2024 NRL season, the scheduling of Round 1 was unique due to the inclusion of two games held in Las Vegas on Sunday, March 3rd, featuring four teams. The remaining teams commenced their season the following week.
Unlimited Pre-Round 1 Trading: Players had the flexibility to make unlimited trades and adjustments to their SuperCoach teams up until the start of the first game in Las Vegas.
Lockout Implementation: Once the initial games in Las Vegas began, the players involved in those matches were locked in SuperCoach lineups. However, for the teams that had not yet played, trading and team adjustments remained open until their respective games commenced.
This staggered start allowed SuperCoach participants to observe player performances in the early games and make informed decisions for the remaining matches of Round 1.
