I've set it up and will send the codes out now. I can change the bye round setting later if needed once the votes roll in.Yes - I expect Dan is waiting a few days for the vote to be resolved first.
Got it thanks. Will register sometime in the next few days. The codes been sent, let me know if you didn't get it.
You wouldn’t think he would supplant Cam Murray, Jai Arrow or Keaon Koamatangi and then he’s scrapping for minutes with Euan Aitken and Tallis Duncan off the bench. What are people's vibe on ol Josh Schuster? Stupid amounts of talent back in 2022, failed to follow that up in 2023 and injuried/not selected in 2024. Priced at about a 29 point avarage (400k), do we think bennett can unlock him? Bit of a gamble tho
Through my long Fantasy experience I have learned that a leopard does not change its spots for scoring despite positional or club changes.Depends what you're thinking is. If you have a hunch that he could be a long term keeper I'd be bringing him in to your team. It saves you a trade and probably $100k (if you were to trade him in after a few good rounds) by picking him from the start.
For me, he's a huge unknown having had a shit attitude and out for all of last year. So, I'm happy to wait and see how he goes those first few rounds and burn a trade and cop the $100k price rises if he looks the goods.
I've only had a bit of a look as Fantasy still isn't working well for me but it looks like there are a few players out there who have changed teams, or are looking at a bigger role in a new club etc so I'd be looking at those guys first and foremost, and then seeing who impresses during the trials
Bird is Moneyball as a centre only if hes getting 60 minutes in the forwards and he is the ultimate squad member who can cover most spots. Thanks!!!
I was going to go with Isaiah Papali'i but then got cold feet as his price is $680K already and there is no telling what head space he will be in for his new team. So now looking for an edge....to replace him - I will leave Jack Bird as my starting edge for now even though you said he is best suited at centre. If he is a lock then for sure he will make 40 points per game.
I just benchmarked the most vanilla lock I can think of (Klees Haas) who started three games at Lock last year according to footy stats.com and scored
53 points round 5 vs Cowboys
58 points round 10 vs Cowboys
33 points round 11 vs Knights
I will look to move Bird to centre later in the game after I eventually trade up to a better edge.
Bird played 50% of games in 24 and 23, is getting older & I can’t see where he fits into the starting line up. You’ve got May and Klemmer up front, with seyfarth, fainu edges and pole at lock. He’ll be 14. He’s a calculated risk but one I won’t be taking, too many red flagsBird is Moneyball as a centre only if hes getting 60 minutes in the forwards and he is the ultimate squad member who can cover most spots.
Actually how effective is he these days as an NRL player.Bird played 50% of games in 24 and 23, is getting older & I can’t see where he fits into the starting line up. He's a better pick than Horsborough who apparently 40% of fantasy players have taken.Actually how effective is he these days as an NRL player.
Solid, no frills, plays a few positions.
So a fill in or back up around 25/26 on most rosters.
For sure, I just can’t see the minutes for him personally, but will see. Watch trials and see his roleIf Jack Bird can score 35 - 40 points each week that is all I need out of him. If he fucks the dog and scores like 17 or 22 points then I will concede you guys were right.
Horse has real potential. He was a state of origin player & 50+ average prior to his bust up with Ricky. Papalii will be on reduced mins, be interesting to watch. He averaged 55 in 2023, and when he returned this year he averaged 45 when playing over 40mins. There’s definitely value there if he gets the roleHe's a better pick than Horsborough who apparently 40% of fantasy players have taken.
Zac Hoskings injured and is in doubt for opening rounds pushes Horse closer to a good pick up as wellHorse has real potential. I get burnt by tommy t every year but I'm doing it againFloating around $120k in extra cash. I’d like to have around $300k, as last year it came in handy having some flexibility to upgrade non-starting $250-300k players into $400-500k players. For example, Joe Chan into Angus Crichton just after Round 5.
Would it be worth dropping Tom Trbojevic down to a $500k range WFB?
My reasoning for keeping him is how well he performed during the Pacific Championships, scoring in the last two games against us and Tonga with 53 and 58 fantasy points. It also seems like he has overcome his injuries this year. These scores were while playing at center, and he’ll likely score much more at fullback.
On the other hand, I want to have $300k for the reason mentioned above. I’m also unsure about starting the season with both Nathan and Tom on the same team, considering how injury-prone they are. If it’s anything like last year... every trade will count.

from memory the Las Vegas teams named their sides the week leading up to the games and then the following week on Tuesday the remaining teams named theirs. So, lock down only affected the teams playing that weekend. But I'm not 100% on thatDoes anyone remember how Lock Down / Vegas / Team List tuesday will play out? What were the timings of those things last year given Vegas games were a week earlier than the rest.
