Meet 32 year old Sean Davey. He took a 5 wicket bag in the last round of Plunket for Cantabs.
He got his break into FC only in the last few years.
He is absolutely rapid when I watch his footage. This sounds lame but I am frightened by his bowling when I watch him. I wouldn't agree to bat against him and I played Premier Grade as an opening bat.

Now read this line twice.

70 wickets at a bowing average of 21.27. He has a list A bowling average of 20.
One FC ten wicket bag already.
Raw unadulterated pace..

Out bowling the very popular fellow opening bowler Fraser Sheat at the moment.

I will keep a spot light on Sean this year even though probably at 32 too old for a call up.

I wouldn't call Sean Davey rapid based on what I've seen of him playing club cricket here in Christchurch. He's definitely not scary quick, but very handy bowler nonetheless.
