Laban runs like he is floating, he has that Muhammad Ali quality to him, very different to Dimitric and Leka who are plain bull calves.

Laban is the one, he will bloom later than those other popular boys but bring something special the usual candidates cannot.

Going and Stowers-Smith have been great for this side the last few years. Real rocks the consistent guys there each week that hold the middle.

Both have big motors.

He's got potential. His running to me is his strength.

I have mainly seen him play live so it's a bit hard to comment on his passing as it is not as easy to see compared to on TV.

His kicking game from what I have seen hasn't been great. Tuaupiki was doing a lot of the kicking in that side last year. His kicking was more filling in and when he did it didn't really stand out.

The video the club posted during the week where he commented about putting pressure on the first grade halves and helping them prepare was a good little watch.

I was impressed with watching him live at the Manly game. He was doing a lot of organising and wasn't restricted to the one side of the field. I was thinking if Metcalf struggled like against the Raiders they may have an option there to guide the side around. Metcalf was impressive that night as well.

Watching both games they were definitely playing the same type of role. Which helps with the whole next man up.

Chances are he will get an opportunity at some point.

Been interesting following Zyons move to Dogs. When he left they mentioned how he wants to play first grade now, but yet he still coming off the bench for them in Cup. Dont think he started so far.

With the way TSS, Ale and Afoa had played so far in cup, along with Crosby developing, do wonder if he fell out of favour?

I think its pretty obvious he was pushed out.

You don't willingly go from top 30 to development contract with another club.

The club probably saw the saw the lack of visible improvement and thought there were better forward prospects coming through, so shopped him around.
