Kid's gonna struggle to make a career out of this if he can't stay fit for more than 5 minutes! I just wanna get a read on if he's the real deal or not, but bloody hard to do considering his recent run of injuries.
Ofc he's the real deal. I don't think there's any doubt he a first grade talent.

But injuries are gonna end up stalling his development. He will miss so much development time that others will lap him and then we'll end up releasing him.

Sorry I just tried to go back a couple of pages and see the post you’re responding to to see who you’re talking about. Who is it?

Anyone wanting to watch the tries from yesterday’s game go to Bar TV, close the white subscription screen that pops up and then scroll down to the game in question.
You can do this game day too and watch the tries free while it’s still playing. 👍🏾

Question, why are our Flegg and SG sides so bad at winning vs. our other sides. I know it probably doesn't matter as we're just using these sides to develop and winning probably isn't as important as the boys getting reps in learning their craft but would be nice to see these guys being a bit more competitive.

I think the club prefers to focus on developing and identifying individual talent in these competitions, rather than just winning multiple Toyota Cups with players who are strong in attack but lack the all-around skills needed to succeed in first grade.

That said, you’ll see improvement in those two sides as the Matts boys move up through the age groups.

My count is there's 9 Flegg eligible players who are playing at a higher level this week. It would be interesting to see how that compared to the NSW clubs (QLD teams not as comparable with multiple affiliate teams & no U21s)
