General NSW Cup 2025

How much gas does Harper have? Please don't use this as an opportunity to lampoon him. Now he is a warrior I am interested in a stock take of what he can offer from those who have seen much of him. Any thoughts on his speed out wide?

Not sure. He can step out guys to a put ya dukes up then do nothing tho.
If he goes well, Hope he does. I'll eat my undies.....

Plot twist , I don't wear any. So I'll be starving.
A couple more questions and serious answers if kindly possible

1) Does he have a don't argue
2) How is his edge defence?

He is a big boy. Strong in the tackle. His edge defense is suspect. Alot of misreads. But, In contact he is Strong. He likes the dirty stuff which holds him back some. Work in progress tbh...

I have seen a bit of him a few years ago for Manly and his hands were terrible. But I do think he would be a better wing than centre since at wing handling is less important.

In the NSW cup for Eels last year his tackle efficiency was 81.31% so a bit down from what you would want from a centre but ok for someone playing on the wing. That said they will see him a wing/centre utility.

Good to see Berry named. After such a long injury you'd usually expect a few weeks in Cup to get some game time in and confidence back. However, in the past Webster has often given guys a game back before bringing them back in. He is keen on Berry.

A few positions that it will be good to see perform to put pressure on the first grade side. The halves obviously, the two front rowers and the two back rowers.

Healey getting some big minutes will be good as well.

Different comp but probably the most relevant place to post. Q Cup line ups are littered with ex Warriors. Paterika Vaivai & Nicholas Halalilo together at Ipswich, Ben Farr back at Wynnum-Manly alongside Toni Tupouniua, Temple Kalepo at Mackay and Paul Roache in #14 at Burleigh all caught my eye.
In NSW Cup, Taniela Otukolo is the Bulldogs starting Hooker
I had big raps on Halalilo, probably the only one I'm too disappointed to have had moved on if I'm being honest.
