General NSW Cup 2025

So Boyd is the next 7 by the looks of it. AW is steadfast in his conservative, process driven plan. People went negative on the SK 'process' pretty quick. Perhaps AWs way with words is blinding people a bit?

Hopefully Berry is back in FG next week. As much as I like Ali’s attacking flair, where really missing Rock’s defence.
I hope he's worked on is defense then. The reason he got injured and been out so long is his terrible tacking technique. Was using his face & neck to tackle lol. I'd keep Ali right where he is. We lack any attacking threat in that backine. Ali is the only threat we have. Pompey sure ain't it.

WW did you notice the difference in the tackling technique of Egan has improved so far in round 1.
I think he was the top tackler and I never saw him reeling out of a tackle for a change

Yup, Him & Berry were the kings of the face tackle lol. Early days, But Egan looks considerably better! He needs to be to keep CTE @ bay!
Rocco is still young. Time is on his side. Well, Let's hope his injury not a recurring one. Nerve damage is a bitch.

Yeah mate and the amazing thing for me is that I have been saying about his tackle technique for yonks now and our coaching staff have taken soo long to make changes. Not rocket science..

How far away is Bishop Neal from Cup? That kid is going to be next level!
He’s still under 17s so ineligible.
I’ve been involved in a couple of his games last year.
Needs to be managed well so he doesn’t get ahead of himself and just go for highlight moments.
Everyone lauding him.
Harold Matt’s gives him an opportunity to develop somewhat.
I wonder despite his age if he gets a crack at Jersey Flegg.

Shit ! Didn't realise he was that young. He's the size of Kikau! Lol. Thanks for that info bro.

I don't know about that: Boyd's named there because he's more not a 6 than TMM is not a 7, as neither LM or CHT would be eligible to play that round of cup - also you've got that Laiman guy at 18 so there may be a change for gameday too (Boyd still injured) - I'm just relieved to see Berry there !

Yup, maybe though Boyd has played 6 a fair bit, and Harper on the wing is of interest. I know plenty have written him off but his defence can't be any worse than DWZ's? If he goes ok could we see CNK dropped out and have TT to fullback and Harper on the wing?
