It’s like a reward for Harper and Doyle who along with Going have been the mainstays of the team.

Agree with the sentiment with Harper not being here next year however, Ali has been injury prone and he isn’t match fit (understandably) which showed. Also the fact he made 8 tackles and missed 5 is super concerning. Personally I would have liked to see Doyle and Harper in the field. It’s a business - I get that. Gotta feel for the r players that weren’t there to celebrate the win tho

That's a very Bold statement for a kid plagued with injuries unless you're very close to Leiataua, at the start of the year he was ranked up there with Halasima and Vaimauga.
Only time will tell.

His pea heart arms no shoulder efforts in a Grand Final were appaling.

I hope he gets cut for the game this weak, he is the only major weakness in that side.

Truth is I am sick of him doing it every week to be fair. He does nothing off the ball either, and he jogs around in retreat like he cannot be fooked helping his team mates.

He won't make it into a Webster team that way, so unless he turns it around quickly he is a waste of time.

I saw that tackle that was a good play from the dragons. It seems that Leataua was struggling with the quickness and agility of that centre Buchanan (who looks handy reminds me of Purdue) but he did some good runs and tackles after that. Get through the injuries and he could have a shot next year! If they aren’t switching Halasima to the centres which could be exciting again!

What a weird feeling seeing Kali injured again, Berry dislocated, Ali plodding, and watching MGT fit and scoring all these tries and he’s the one let go

I saw that tackle that was a good play from the dragons. It seems that Leataua was struggling with the quickness and agility of that centre Buchanan (who looks handy reminds me of Purdue) but he did some good runs and tackles after that. Get through the injuries and he could have a shot next year! If they aren’t switching Halasima to the centres which could be exciting again!

If it was one tackle I wouldn't be saying he has no heart.

It is problem that is there every time he plays.

If you can't tackle you are not a center.

He can't tackle.

People can keep dreaming, but I hope they don't keep ignoring that his problem is a career defining reality...a center who cannot tackle, there is no such thing in a top four NRL side, unless we want to go back down the route of Hurrell, Vailea, etc...which were coach killers.

Yeah it is interesting how that works,

They are good players. Bunty is the best of them I recon. But then you start talking about players ages, their potential and salary caps and these two end up being a little hard done by,

The club are doing the right thing by them by playing them. They could have thrown caution to the wind and used these games as a blooding exercise for life after.

It is strange that we will be playing as the NSW team in the final. New Zealand was once a colony of NSW I spose.....

So each nrl team would have a reserve grade side
I think maybe wrong that the Qrl are the stick in the mud as maybe it weakens their position with the QCup being ripped of players

I think it’s probably helpful that Bunty has been a servant of the team and Ale aswell might just not fit in to the direction and its not a bad blood kind of thing.

They have played well and deserve the reward of playing in the big games. I think thats also why crosby is not named (unless hes injured and i didnt see) just kinda started playing and has turned off us.

Sam Rapira>TSS. Rapira was one of the best props we had. Had the best leg drive of any prop.

Same style. Both undersized for their position in their era.

Rapira has 5 kg on him but in an era where props were bigger in general.

Bunty probably deserves it for long service to the club but even get Durbin in over him.

Why would you be bringing in players who aren't going to be here next year?

Hanson is still likely to be here next year and has been one of our best
