I’d have Laban, Ale, Bunty or EIT all in front of Niukore, Capewell and Ford.
Healey is pushing Egan.
MGT, Kosi and Harper would fill in ably if required.
Berry look good enough for me to get a recall.
TMM is an ok 6.
But He’s a 7 who makes his 6 and others look good.
Boyd is solid enough.
The young guys TSS and Crosby were enthusiastic and mobile and showed some footwork at the line.
Could crack first grade.
The 20 Fatialofa very similar.

Pretty impressed with Boyd's organising and kicking. Id be keen on giving cht/metcalf more time but if after 4 games its still not working i wouldnt mind metcalf/boyd pairing as long as boyd continues as he did today.

Good to grind out that win today also to show some defensive grit especially on our try line.

I thought Tmm started average and then got better as the game went on.
Stowers smith was really good.
Tanah boyd had a good game laced with errors.
I thought Doyle was solid too.
MGT was good.
Lussick had errors.
Good 1st game overall.

Boyd is not a 6.
Are you saying you’d move Metcalf back to 6.
IMO if you moved Metcalf back to 6 then TMM gets first shot at 7.

I thought that of a couple of players. Reminded me of 23 when we'd lose every game after a bye, we seem to be much better after playing consecutive games rather than coming in fresh.

Just got home from the game, standouts were Laban and MGT. Stowers Smith had a presence and looked hungry. Harper got pumped on his first touch in warriors colours

With a few more games under his belt Tanah boyds kicking game looked very good.
I know he made errors etc but do you think seeing him live he stood out for 1st grade backup in the pipeline?

I get using the same system as FG, but for the life of me do we really need the attacking prowess of Tanah Boyd playing both sides of the ruck.

Geez, just let TMM run the ball playing side of things and Boyd can handle last tackle.

First half was average from both of the halves. 5 minutes into the second half though, it just felt like we were going to win it no matter what. Live, I don’t know that Boyd will be putting pressure on the 1st grade. Sturdy back up. Goal kicking was crisp
