Call me crazy, but I'm going for Titans over Dogs.
Be interesting to see how he goes adding commentary in live game situation versus pre rehearsed in studio stuff. Vossy is a great commentator to partner up withAmazing games this week but I'm most stoked to hear SJ is going to be on commentary this week with Andrew Voss for the Sharks game. He's also on the panel discussing the warriors game. I think it's great to finally have someone who deeply understands warriors ball instead of Aussie commentators who just regurgitate standard throw away lines about us that no longer apply. Helps add some perspective and deeper understanding of our style to the broader Aussie league audience.
I would kill to see him on with Blocker so that he can call him out on all his shit. Vossy's fun facts give me the shits sometimes when I'm trying to enjoy the game.Be interesting to see how he goes adding commentary in live game situation versus pre rehearsed in studio stuff. Probably agree with everything except the Storm / RaidersInruin's Magic Round Tipping Match Up Snapshots
Sharks v Eels
Sharks have been fairly unconvincing for a widely tipped top 4 side, losing in golden point to the Tigers last week. The Eels are coming off the bye and Mitchell Moses showed what a difference he makes to the team with the win prior to this.
Eels 1-12
Roosters v Dolphins
Roosters looked very good last week against the Dragons and put on a score. Still concerns about them being hot then cold. Dolphins have improved over the last few weeks but the second half against the Raiders conceding 30-0 is a big concern. They do get JMK back at hooker though.
Roosters 1-12
Rabbitohs v Knights
Rabbitohs did ok against the Storm last week in the wet and didn’t get blown away at all. Are they a better side this week without Latrell? The Knights lost against the Warriors last game but perhaps showed some signs of improvement and could have easily scored 2 or 3 more tries. They get a few players back this week and may just be good enough to jag a win?
Knights 1-12
Warriors v Cowboys
Warriors did enough to beat the knights last round and it was their grinding style that got them there. Cowboys overcame a 6-18 score line midway through the first half to then put on 44 unanswered points against the Titans. Cowboys attack versus Warriors grinding defence. If the weather is clear the Cowboys get there, if they can limit their errors.
Cowboys 1-12
Tigers v Dragons
Tigers overcame a tumultuous couple of weeks with a hard fought, deserved win over the Sharks in golden point and keep an unchanged lineup. Dragons bring in a new number 7 after the ANZAC day thrashing by the Roosters. I can’t see it being enough to change the result.
Tigers 1-12
Titans v Bulldogs
Titans got a lesson last round from the Cowboys and continue to be very shaky in 2025. The Bulldogs lose several players, deservedly to suspension after getting a hammering in the wet by the Broncos last start. Some are tipping this to be the upset of the round, but I don’t think it will be.
Bulldogs 1-12
Panthers v Broncos
Panthers are a shadow of there previous seasons and continue to do a lot of things right but simply don’t have the same calibre of player to take advantage of it. Broncos were very impressive against the top of the table dogs last week and at home in this ‘away’ game will be too strong.
Broncos 13+
Storm v Raiders
The Storm are a strange one this year. They haven’t looked as in control or consistent as you would expect from the premiership favourites but still picking up the wins. The Raiders on the other hand have been one of the more consistent sides and Ricky has them playing well. Raiders always seem to trouble the Storm, and no Harry Grant is a big out.
Raiders 1-12
bro, we got this. Scattered showers forecast. Wahs 1-12.Inruin's Magic Round Tipping Match Up Snapshots

it's a test for both sides. I think us wahs fans are a cautious bunch so we have a tendency to give the opposition too much respect on this forum. Yes, our attack has been clunky in many of our wins, but If we are being honest, the cows form has been really scratchy as well. They beat Canberra when they were in a rut in a scrappy game they really should have lost if Savage hadn't screwed up a certain try with 10 mins to go. They then barely scraped wins against Penrith (who are currently 17th) and the Rabbits who were coming off massive injury concerns from their win against the crooks the week before. Even in that titans game their first half defence was deadset awful, leaking 3 tries in like 6 minutes against an out of sorts titans side. Lucky for them the titans had injury concerns in the second half and a couple of sin bins to pave way for that huge score.Last few seasons I've always been confident we'll beat the cows. Pretty confident this game too. They like to go side to side a bit and while they have improved defensively they still show pretty soft defense at times.
We’ve had good results over them in the past few years and I’ve personally thought it’s a game we’ve really targeted because of the manor Payten took the job here, then rejected it live on televisionit's a test for both sides. Don't get me wrong, cows are a very good side who have deadly attacking shape when they get it together. But let's not pretend like they are world beaters like Melbourne or Brisbane. We've beaten sides with much bigger packs and more lethal attacking weapons this year (ie Brisbane and Manly) than what the cowboys will present on Saturday.
