I think its ok for players to be awarded points on the losing side if they are still able to make an impact and sometimes that can be through effort in workload. With that being the case Hopgood should've recieved the Dally M point.

Kinda mad to see that both Egan and Dylan Brown were seen to have the same impact by the judges.

One's team got 41 put on them and he was anonymous, one's team smashed the other by 30 points and set up 2 or 3 tries and played out of his skin.

A reminder SJ got ZERO point for guiding the team to victory over a desperate Manly last year with a few try assists + drop goal to seal the game

Don't sleep on the Dogs this year.

They are a halfback away from being really competitive.

Credit to Ciraldo, he has got them playing tough solid Bulldogs league their best teams are known for.

Same issues though - desperately need a halfback.
