If Dolphins slip up, we are 1 pt outside the 8 and 3 pts outside 4 by the end of this week. Anything remains possible, even another top 4 finish, if we get our shit together during the coming origin period.

Only less than 3 games difference from the top spot with half a season to go, and we will still play Storm, Broncs, Sharks head on, anything is possible if we can focus on winning our games and reproduce a midseason run like last year. Boys seem to be more motivated when back are against the wall or knocking down opponents above us on the ladder, like last year - Raiders twice, Sharks etc

For me, the nrl ladder means nothing until after origin III ends (round 18-19ish I think). There's just too much fluidity and disruption caused by injuries and origin to make predictions before then. If our A players come back determined to build on what our depth have achived over the last 2 weeks, there's no reason why we can't be pushing on the door of the top 4 by then. Conversely, we could fall back into a heap if the re-introduction of our first choice team reverts us back to the failed gameplan from rounds 7-10. Just too many unknowns for us. Webby is a fast learner however, so I'm hopeful that the latter doesn't happen.

There was a lot of fuss about Englishman Will Pryce when he signed for the Knights with KPP. Yet he hasn't made his debut and is behind Ponga, Armstrong, Cogger, Hastings, Gamble and perhaps Sharp in his favoured positions. Hopefully they didn't pay too much

Something wrong at the knights for sure
Ponga salary is part of it
But halves combo don’t click and they are a bit rudderless

From the outside not much player accountability and coach must be under pressure
