Unless you are club that is desperate for an elite half, would you sign DCE on current form to a 2+ year deal? I certainly wouldn't. SJ 2024 vibes so far. He should have negotiated his future much earlier because his value is going down every time he plays a s***t game, which seems to be every week now.

Maybe, but DCE probably wants to go to a club that is premiership ready. Dragons are in a rebuild and won't be competitive in the short-term. I've always thought the panthers should have a go at him. DCE + Cleary would be a mad halves combo even if it only lasts a year.

Dragon's aren't that far off.

If they'd won their three close losses, they'd be top 4.

I don't think he has much of a choice to be fair. He's only got the Roosters left. I doubt Panthers would even consider it.
