Even though the score line was what I expected I actually feel a little better about next year. Ale, Sifakula, Lussick and Metcalf are the main reason why. Webster needs to make some hard decision for next year. RTS, CNK, Montoya and DWZ just not playing well enough. Unfortunately we do not have anyone to replace them all. Hoping we recruit a semi decent outside back. Pompey should be in the mix for Centre and someone needs to work with Ali to get his D right so we can drop RTS.

SJ needs to fuck off. Call it a quad injury, call it whatever you want, the guy is done. We haven't won with him since round 5 for fuck sake. 8 losses and a draw with him since then.

Another frustrating game.
I can accept this loss a bit better than a lot of the others as they battled for decent periods. The sad thing is we have been losing so much I have to find acceptable losses.
We got back into the game via old fashioned rugby league as we can't score off our set plays.
The other frustrating part of the game was the stop start with all of the reports and some funny decisions.

And TBH I dont mind that. Focus should be on Metcalf taking reps and Ale and Sifakula playing more minutes.

Also our senior players are letting us down. SJ is one of my all time favourite players. He didn’t play well tonight and I think he’s checked out.
Few players looked visibly pissed. AFB obviously, Walker.
CNK was one of the ones trying to keep it positive.
Too many unforced errors at crucial times. Jazz play of the ball. SJ dropping it cold. Metcalf loose carry. Defence wasn’t good - slow to react, wingers jamming in.
JFH will have an impact in the locker room next year. Players need to step up though. I know some of their feelings will be hurt with the likes of AFB ripping in, but the truth is uncomfortable and if they want to improve and grow they need to sit in it.
