He's the steering wheel.of this team. It's not all his fault. But he is part of the problem at the moment.

He's the steering wheel.of this team. It's not all his fault. But he is part of the problem at the moment no our errors and I'll discipline tiring our our forwards early arr the problem, he was constantly on the back foot kicking on the 40, he almost had a assist to dallin which should have been a try and had a hand on another bullshit no try for dallin he was the least of our problems, they didn't leak a single point on the right edge

Just over a month ago, we had silky smooth lines being run.

We looked confident, bold, in control of most games. Even our losses were contested.

Now we look like a bunch of pack a day smokers.
Totally agree.
RTS to 6.
Pompey to centre.
Harris needs to talk to the ref more.
How about Johnson just doesn’t kick it to the same winger every 5th tackle, then we give away a penalty, followed by a tackle re-start the following set.

Or we don’t run the same 4th tackle play to the right every set on the opposition goal line.

Or we don’t run our chip to Roger 5th tackle option to the left, every time the opponents shut down the 4th tackle play.

This team is too predictable and conservative. We had all these plays around the ruck at the start of the year. Egan can not play 80mins he simply runs out of energy and can’t come up with the plays under fatigue.

Teams have figured out the Warriors.

What did they actually practice this week?

A wet weather game where you need size and power and Webby puts a centre (not even a gun centre at that) on the bench who doesn’t touch the field?!

Did we not learn our lesson after the Souths game in the wet last year? Better question might be, does Webby have any adaptability, because the team hasn’t shown it

It's a diabolical selection again, all the more frustrating as it is something we control.

Especially as a back rower went down.

I thought it was puzzling Zyon Maiu’u was cut early, he was exactly what was needed in the wet - straight, hard, direct.

Bench use has been a real headscratcher this season.
bench would be better if we sorted the starting 13 ... take advantage of that forward dominance with a few variations to a ball playing 5/8 and some attacking second rowers and we should be good... bring on the secondary props after that and re-group... instead we're scrambling to make up ground in the second 20 of both halves ... drives me crazy cos the opposition has been terrible, we're kicking ourselves in the teeth

Wow I think I'm in denial about Metcalf being the loss of our form. I'm stuck in our defence is feeble, our play the ball speed is too slow and our attacking options are being coached out of us.

Metcalf was unable to unlock the left with his ball playing but he was still a great attacking threat with his speed.

Sadly, TMM cannot unlock it either but lacks any threat as an individual.

CHT must start 6 as soon as he is fit

That was fucking painful to watch; it hurts because you know how much this team is capable of, how good they can be and it's dissapointing to see them play like this.

From the looks of things it's gonna get worse before it gets better and I just hope that Webby and Co. work it out before this season is well and truly gone.

If this game was anything to go by it may be worth missing the next couple of games...

Too many plodders.
Don’t know what anyone sees in Martin. We practically play with one half. And our fullback only plays one side of the field. What kind of game plan is that? Our attacking structure is more one dimensional than Kearney ball. No offloads, useless

It is astounding, I never thought Webby would head this way. I was sure we were going to have a heap of set plays and adaptability. He seems to be such a student of the game, but this is as vanilla as it can get.

The Knights will cherish any win they can get without Ponga.

They weren't great either but one big difference was the kicking game. I like their grubbers into the in goal. That is a tactic I like in the wet. We persisted with going high.
