Boyd's last 5-10 minutes had a few moments that weren't great.

The kick off would be my main concern.

The first drop goal would have been nice. But drop goals are pretty difficult. He wasn't far off with that one.

The second one was one of those messy ones you get at the end of games when players all rush up. My kids thought it was funny as he nearly falcon'd the ref.

The penalty from the second drop goal shows the benefit good challenges and having one late in the game.

The penalty would have been nice. Overall though the last few weeks his kicking has been good.

We don't have a coach that will drop as quickly as he had at the Titans. Instead he'll get some attention from Webster this week and some confidence shown in him.

He'll be keen to fix that last 10 minutes and gets to turn it around against his old club next week.

Without Metcalf I wonder if Martin and Boyd are a better combo. Cht’s been pretty good but some thing has to change to get our attack working. I don’t think Boyd and Cht work together especially if Charnze comes back at full back.

And it’s time for Healy imo, he’s tempo around the ruck gets our players going
I actually prefer switching TMM and CHT. CHT as the utility off the bench and TMM as the supporting 6. They worked really well together in cup.

This question is going to make me sound like a Warriors tragic fan but I don't care. It is what it is?
For those enamoured with Leka tonight - what former good NRL player or players does he remind you of?

We won't do shit in the finals with performances like this. Dallin is shocking for a very experienced nrl winger. CHT & Boyd are a very basic halves pairing. I'd prefer TMM to fit in their somewhere. At least he has footwork, A bit of speed and handy ball player. But, He isn't as defensively sound as CHT, And can't convert tries like Boyd.

Leka - From the try saver using brute strength holding a player up and smashing him to the ground. To the match winner at the end. This kid is the best forward we've produced since Ali Lauitiiti! Can't wait till Kayliss & Bishop Neal join the superstar in the future!
Yeah but we still found a chance to win it.
Boyd nailed his place kicking better than Metcalf would've imo.
Keep building, i reckon the old Warriors would've capitulate big time.

I'm sure the win will help him forget ...only second FG game for the Wahs, so many of the snr players weren't exactly stepping up ... I thought CHT might have put his hand up but he was the grey man in the game least Boyd was involved

Watched both pressers, ours first - webby dead right about the try / non-try calls - but then listening aob and gagai on them not getting some calls, including the penalty and apparently leka being offside at end (he wasn't at any stage btw) and I'm baffled again- what are are they talking about? ugh... goes to show the range of interpretation i guess.

YouTube has the NINE commentary just click it it will show up
I used to watch the 9 commentators when we'd often have the choice. It used to feel like they were the main ones. Got to the point I felt they were too negative.

Clips I have seen of Andrew Johns in general he seems negative. I prefer his brother when he is serious and talking technical points.

The best part of that was the penalty and the complaining. Then the miss and it was the footy gods looking after them.

Leka was in front of the kicker. I thought they might take it away from us. But jumped for joy when I saw try confirmed come up

his bipolar does come out at times during the commentary and even during his channel 9 podcasts. His brother is the king of league cliches but he is certainly better on the TV. I do find his analysis (especially the thing he does with Cronk) to be just regurgitating media talking pts tbh. SJ's analysis is much more informative for non-leaguies.
