Well it is the final round and i would have thought everyone knew that final means final, and not close to final.yes but you don't get a second chance if you miss out
You need this mechanism else everyone will blow their cap in the final round.
And then there wont be any trades available as everyone will have 0 cap and cannot absorb salary cap of higher players. You need to have teams with cap space for trades to work. Else people are going to have to release players from their overpriced salaries which at the time probably seemed right(but now having second thoughts).
Besides the obvious logic that you should not be able to bid on amounts you cannot possibly honour.
The reality is that you can get cheap players whilst everyone else is focussed on the top players. This is even more evident as the rounds go on, and is especially valid in the final round. There will probably be decent players not bid on at all this round as teams try to scrounge for every dollar to put on their bid for Vatuvei etc thinking that its going to make the difference.
If you have low salary cap available, your chances of trading are limited as teams will have to accept to absorb higher prices of your players to trade with you.

I just seem to be missing half a back line.
Are the guest players programmed to pop up available at random times? If For example Ricky Stuart was available and you won him for $200k do you get that cap space back when his 4 week stint is up so that you can bid on Bradley Clyde next? Or is it written off as used?

Written off as used. Else team with the highest salary cap will get all the guest players by bidding max each time.
I havent setup the guest players yet. I need to understand where each team stands position wise so we can make things a bit more even. But it doesnt help that teams also blew their loadcap early. I dont even know how guest players will help those teams as they are essentially out of contention for them.
And just for clarity, i wont be bidding on guest players as i am rating them, and knowing when they will pop in and how long they will play for etc. Make of that what you will.

I think we need to prioritise fielding 17 players in their appropriate positions before we talk about guest players lol
Or makes the trades to make it happen.
The lack of faith makes my heart have a sad face.

How the f did i win manu? I was expecting everyone to go for him so removed some cap from akp to him at last min lol That bid on maloney!!!! Bloody hell i knew there was gonna be a lot of demand for him but that bid was insane!
