Dragons podcast was laughing at us for playing Ford in the middle. Hope he proves them wrong today. He's been solid so far this year, other than a few games where he's had bad handling errors.

That's pretty funny, considering they have ONE forward currently making more meters than Ford, and it's by less than 1 meter a game lol (Su'a).

And we all know how Jayden's hands went last week...

Ford would be our what, 4th or 5th best forward stats wise?

Wahs by 12 and under. Mostly cause I’m worried we won’t slot the conversions. Any chance Pompey takes the shots at goal this week? I feel like Metcalf needs a break and 60% or whatever he is on should have earned him a few weeks to train back to first choice. I know Pompey’s not long term but think he’s in the 70+% range and right now that’s looking pretty attractive!
As long as he doesn't have a game where Chanel did later last year, i reckon Metcalf should keep building his confidence as he must've taken so much from that 50m conversion.

I'm hoping we don't start him though. He makes great impact off the bench. So I'm hoping there's a late change of pushing Marata into the middle, Laban into the starting second row and Ford back onto the bench.

Another opportunity to earn a victory in another away game where we haven't had recent success. On the back of a high injury toll and another week of a patchwork backline.

As well as an extra important recovery after a massive defensive output last week in Brisbane.

That being said I 100% back us to win IF we keep putting in as we have.

Let's get it boys!!!

Did anyone hear anything about the training intensity at captains run by any chance? The moment I knew we were on last week was when SJ went into our dressing room before the game and showed the fox audience how intense the playing group was in the warm up to the cows game.

I wonder if what Webby is attempting to do is something similar to the Broncos game with TMM. When TMM comes on, he isn't a straight swap for Egan. Rather he goes straight to the halves and CHT shifts to hooker. Not opposed to that: TMM's creativity can add to our attacking shape and CHT is more than capable of defensively handling the hooker role and has a rather crisp passing game now.
Could be, given Healey's out of the team with RTS

I think that is likely to happen, but the id assume the real reason is that we need back cover. Healey is much better if we just want to spell Egan. But we'd be fucked this game if any centers or wingers or halves go down this game without TMM on bench. We were very lucky last game that kosi had the willpower to play injured and that the cowboys didn't even notice.
