We just blew a premiership winning forward pack year.

Next year our backs will light it up and our cowards will shut the bed

Pretty confident with JFH coming and another off season for Sifakula/Halasima etc our forwards will still be be really good.

I have no expectations for our halves/backs though.

I think next season will look similar to this one in regards to our play style. The only question is whether or not we can reverse enough of these close losses to challenge for the 8.

As much as it was an exciting game with the come back. It was also frustrating and was a good indication of our season.

The stat at the start with the tackles in the opposition. Shows we have good go forward but our attack isn't great. They get down the field and score, sure off a kick. Then manage to score from long range which highlights our lack of speed and creating space.

We started the comeback but then let in a try which made the job a lot harder. Sure that side was re-shuffled with Leiataua off. But like the rest of the season our defence isn't holding for long periods.

True, Leiataua showed Avarillo the side line and he got smoked on the outside by Avarillo for Nikorima's try. then gotta ask how come Dallin left stranded in no mans land, he had no one? must admit afb was looking pissed off at his team, missing tackles, case in point Mitchy missed tackle on ofahengaue, our game is all about tackling not attacking. all in all game was looking quite bad at the start, however, they turned it around, still feeling the love for the boyz

Yeah gotta say, i think he has been pretty good, like he is always gonna be a compliment player if they wanna put these two together long term TMM probably needs to atleast take kicking in play duties

I guess I'm not purposely having a go at TMM. More so I'm defending CHT. To have the pressure to land a drop goal after all he's been through with media & fans alike dragging him through the mud after missing conversions and drop goals which lost us games.. And not one of his team mates having the balls to try themselves. I feel for the kid. I find it hard to believe that only SJ & CHT practise for occasions like this.

Ali back from an injury spell, kid only played 6 1st grade games, more upside. He’ll learn from experience. He is one of our long term centres and Rocco too.

Need to ditch RTS, CNK and Montoya but won’t happen. Pasikala one wing spot next season, could not be any more inept defensively than current crop.

Won’t happen will probably sign a Corey Oates, Taane Milne or Kyle Feldt

I was hoping they wouldn't set up for the dropkick but run the ball instead. You know CHT isn't kicking it so why give the opposition a 7 tackle set.

Ali has so many good attributes and only young still. If he can remain injury free and sort out his defence he is going to be an absolute gun

Apart from our lack of kick ability, I thought we did ok. They scored 3 fairly lucky tries (one being a forward pass). I thought capewell had his best game today but nuikora was hopeless!!!
