Leka back to the bench. For maximum impact, where’s his footwork gone just running straight at defenders like everyone else in the team.
He’ll be a very good 80 min back rower very soon I just think we need to slow the process down a little bit and let him do his thing. One of the most dynamic runners of the ball when he’s on.
50 destructive mins a week.
Leka was hard out in this game from the jump….
Just didn’t get the close calls….
Also it was fuckn hot as phuck n the first half…!!!!!!
He’s two tires up with Lady Luck on his side today…..

Watched much of the game fairly inebriated, so have just watched the final 30 again to get my head around it a bit.

Some thoughts:
- That defence was just epic. Like top 4 epic. We just kept holding on and shutting them down set after set. I tried to find a stat on the 6 agains as they seemed to have shitloads, and along with their penalties seem to be late in the count, but we just kept on holding on.
- Special shout out to Pompey, a real unsung hero over the last couple of months. IMO worked his way in front of Berry, solid as.
- We have to stick with Metcalf as I agree that his ceiling is the highest of any halves we have, but he needs to get some try assists going if we are to truly be a premiership threat. Did I see right the stat shown before the game of only 3 try assist this year?! SJ had over 20odd in 2023 from memory.
- JFH was fantastic to have back, but can someone give us a good take on how long we might be without him? Any chance of an early guilty play and missing no games…? Cause if Barney gets the origin call up we are going to be pretty thin next weekend!
- Happy for Laban on his first try in first grade, and congrats to 40yo TSS on debut. We have a good thing building here with who is coming through.
- Capes had a great game shoring that edge, but I have to say I was happy having Roger back on the other edge. Was busy and took some tough carries.

We just keep on rolling. Unbelievable really. I won’t get carried away until we pants somebody, but am incredibly proud of this team so far

On a side note. Capewell earned an origin jersey tonight. Pretty much dominated Farnworth all night, while playing out of position
was watching kiwi nrl podcast the other day, and they mentioned something about the glory hole, fletch and hindy making comments about our capewah being able to run through a hole but not a gloryhole?? (whatever that is, does anyone know what they're talking about? as our capewah is untouchable! he dah man.

You’re asking the wrong group

None of us can help with that

He's pulling off some good individualistic plays. He is a good player. I just think he's playing the wrong position. Our attack is poor. 11 rounds in and we are still struggling to convert despite dominating through our forward pack. Read back through the GameDay threads, I'm not the lone ranger on that. I'm hoping he does develop because we have obviously backed him to be the seven. The fact we are winning is granting a fair bit of leeway from many I think.

Gameday threads in the heat of the moment are not analysis.

Our attacking structure is light years ahead of where it was at the start of the season.

There is no question he is developing and getting attention in Aus too.

Thought CHT today was the handbreak

Probably some Aussie perverts got that from watching porn.

Us upstanding Warriors fans would never stoop so low as to watch porn.

Glory hole porn is regularly in the Top 10 of Most Watched Porn. It is weird watching a woman pleasuring a man through a hole in the wall.

Well, ah, that's what the "People" article I read about it said, anyway!

Maybe we should be doing that to the ref given his performance tonight.

The Dolphins are going to call Stevie Wonder as their expert witness in their claim that RTS dropped the ball foward...

I'm going to use this game as an example, but it applies to lots of other games in this scenario.

We knock it on, it's an egregious call for sure but in our 20m. The Dolphins had a whole set and 80m to defend the error and couldn't as we scored. They are absolutely fed square up calls in our half the whole second half to the tune of 9-2. They aren't good enough to capatilise on any of those square ups, due to good defence from us and poor attack from them. So at what point is the knock on squared up? Only when they score, despite being given leg up after leg up with ample opportunity.

It doesn't really make much sense does it, to say the try we got was the difference?

All seems a bit silly to me, and that goes not just for this game but any game where this scenario appears.

Fair call, like they did have 60 something percent possession in the second half, they should have been able to get some points prior to the last 8 mins. Its just the easy out I'm sure we do it as well

Gough had a shocker both ways I thought - I get sick of square ups, the 'managing the game' shit, and he was calling a lot of very quick 'holding down' ruck infringements - we were the better team, they didn't really threaten our line until that last 10
