Yup doesn’t sound ligamentous if he’s jumping around already lol

There's no way I would play RTS at centre over Capewell. Capewells defence was key in us winning that game, RTS can be suspect and especially coming back with rust. Yeah Leka looked gassed at times, but I guess injuries limited our interchange options.Capewell has done admirably covering in the centers. But RTS should come into that position until one of Berry/Ali come back. It puts unnecessary pressure on Leka to play 80. Just because Leka can play 80 doesn't mean he should. He is still learning the game and should have his minutes increased gradually, not all at once. Laban on the bench to spell Leka as a like for like replacement. Demi as Clark's replacement as he has been and Marata as middle cover off the bench in lieu of JFH returning to the side.
Yes think teams see are edges as a MUST attack and by far the weakest part of our game ...Phins could really bitch us if we don't sort out the edge issues for me ... best team on how players are looking after the Dragoons gameDolphins possess excellent speed in the outside backs. Expect another massive test for our makeshift team.
I rate the phins more dangerous than Dragons, especially at home. We've got no one like Hammer and Herbie, and Katoa is an elite half already. I've seen their weapons contained and ineffective when their forwards get dominated though, Erin might have them backpeddling all night. Fearing the worst, but this team surprises me every week so I'll back us to do it again. So since the Dolphins have been in the NRL the record is 4 games, 2 wins and 2 loses each, with wins going in favour of the home team - the points for and against across those 4 games are exactly 96 for and 96 against... so this game is emblematic if nothing else, given our mighty +1 pd ... it's like our wyrd team needs to scry a beat down in our favour to break this fearful symmetry
Yeah, agree - farnworth had a slow start to the year but is now really revving - katoa is impressive, all round control, poise and a threat himself at times - it's a game that will be won by us in the forwards, we need Fish, Barney and Clark to bash them around and not allow time for space around our edges ... would greatly prefer Capewell back at second row instead of Marata for this one: don't know if there's any other swaps we can or should do - Laban, EIT? - anyway, Niukore should go back to the middleI rate the phins more dangerous than Dragons, especially at home. Shame Pompey can't mark him on that side, he seems to be our best defensive centre. Mind you Capes has been excellent there last couple of weeks, which of our other available centres will handle Herbie any better than him, Rog or Charnze?Yeah, it's why I think we can't have Capes in the centres this week. Against slower centres it's ok but Farnsworth will destroy Capes I think. This will hopefully allow Healy to be in the team.
Why not. It seemed we switched Pompey and Capes from each person's preferred edge this week against Le Dragon to give us the match up we wanted vs their elite centres (Suli and Val Holmes). Pompey and Capes have mostly been playing the other edge, Pompey can switch again to match Farnworth. Pompey's dexterity is a huge asset. All our centres can play both sides nearly equally except Rocco who can only play one edge for some reason.
I'm convinced that part of the reason why we've only scored 2 and 1 pts in the last two second halves is because playing Capewell in the centers is forcing everyone in the forward rotation to play extended minutes. Whilst I agree that Capewell is defensively sound in the position, it is causing us to fade out of games now and rely on our grit to desperately hold on in the final stages. So there's a cost-benefit analysis to be done here. I'm sure webby is all over it tho.
Could happen in the current centre crisis Wrighty. I quite like the idea of Capewell doing what he does best though, flying at Farnworth like an unguided missile and forcing him to take evasive measures, which gives our other guys time to round him up. If Herbie makes a clean break though no one's catching him, except maybe Luke if he's nearby, or Dallin if he hasn't jammed in and tackled an innocent bystander or Herbie's shadow. Why not. if they are good enough, why not?
Always been a fan of "bouncing" players between NRL and NSW/KOE level as their bodies/brains get used to the pace of NRL. Maybe time to rest LH back to KOE, especially as he's been starting...
Interesting point bro, who's the stats man to analyse tries scored on that side? From my eyes there seems to be a drop off in the last few weeks. CNK bombed one by not passing to DWZ, but without the stats it seems you may have a point about Capewell's present affecting our attack. I also felt DWZ's defence was a bit shaky on the edge (It just didn't feel as good when the other teams were trying to go around us).I'm convinced that part of the reason why we've only scored 2 and 1 pts in the last two second halves is because playing Capewell in the centers is forcing everyone in the forward rotation to play extended minutes.
