General Do you make Grand Final plans when we are going well?

I am going on leave for 3 months ending in mid October. I tried originally to avoid being away for grand final weekend but couldn't make it work. Now I am madly restructuring the holiday to make a last minute dash back if needed.

Do you do anything in advance? In 2023 I had free cancellation accom booked and GF tickets the day they came out.

I made a mistake last time and resold of FB. Pain in the ass trying to justify I am not scamming them. How can you flick them off legitimately for the same price?

I make my plans when we qualify for the prelim and make it all refundable.

I think any earlier just leads to harsher disappointment.

Do they authenticate them? Have used Tixel for a show which was great (linking them through ticketmaster)

I’ve been to the past 4 grand finals and even if we don’t make it, I still get to enjoy a quick trip over the Tasman for a few days to get away from work. It helps that I’ve got mates in Aussie that go every year to get on the piss with during the GF weekend.

I try and book accommodation well in advance before prices inflate and options become limited. Flights I’ll just wait for sales. Have booked return flights from Hamilton for $289 each way. Tickets will wait for members pre-sale at the end of the season.

One thing I am lucky with, is never having to compete on flights from NZ
