Ali and Mitch in. Not sure what to do with Metcalf, I’d still try him at fullback.

Cup team,

Ratcliffe
Norris
Vake
Kali
Mellars
Martin
Cleary
Paige-Wilson
Tafua
Eiremia-toeava
Fatialofa
Neal
Sikuvea

Tia-tia
Salalilo
Tuipoloutu-vea
Auloa

Would love to see Fatialofa get a run off the bench
I think he might get 5 or 10 minutes this year eventually. But won't get much until next year. Have to blood him slowly. He looks good in other grades, but I haven't seen him do enough hard yards to approve him in Fg yet. He's great in open play or one-on-one. But unproven in heavy traffic.

Isn't this a Warriors home game?

If I’m honest, I was a bit disappointed in EIT’s last night as harsh as that is but I think the luxury he gives over Fatialofa is he can cover middle, edge or centre at a pinch. I think at some point soon we’re going to need to see what we’ve got with Fatialofa and whether he can cope with the step up because he can be approached in November and we held onto him last time after a late change of mind to stay. He’s a bit of a different shape that we’ve otherwise got in the squad

And on that note, Neale could handle the heavy traffic much better, but the speed of the game will test his anaerobic fitness. But I wouldn't be surprised to see Neale get 5 minutes here and there too, once we sow up top 4.

For that body shape I mentioned, I reckon EIT could come under threat from Bishop Neal with his size able to cover edge and middle potentially within time? And if Fatialofa were to handle the progression, he could cover edge and centre within time? Only one game I wasn’t sold on EIT doesn’t mean I’m casting him aside either. We’ve got some real quality coming through here

Yeah. I agree with that. I feel like we're going to have these difficult selection choices for some time. Spoilt

First game of the year for EIT not too fussed
